Very cool. I've heard of these but had never used them. I decided to buy this one since I was tired of switching the disposal on with a wet hand and since I was buying a new faucet it was time for a change. Darned Amazon and their "Others also purchased" section. :) Be aware and don't make the same mistake I did. The picture on the website shows all four button types but it does not come with all four. You need to select the specific style you want. I was in a hurry after spending a long time researching faucets. I saw all four pictures below the unit and assumed it came with them. Yeah, I was wrong and didn't realize it until after I installed it because it had a protective cover over the finish. I looked in the box for the others, double checked the website then realized my mistake. Good news is I sent an email to the seller and they quickly responded with the brushed nickel switch part number for $10. My mistake in assuming so there's no issues with the product or the seller. The replacement switch was quickly delivered and actually unscrews from the top so replacement was easy. Very cool and I wish I would have purchased it years ago.

Installed fairly easily. You do have to drill a mounting hole, and get under the sink to plug it in. Since it's air activated there's no danger of electrical shock. I installed ours on the front of the cabinet so it isn't in the way. Works well every time.

I used this to power a 2hp water pump, and after being "on" for several hours, the plug socket began to melt and it stopped working. I took the thing apart, and found the wiring inside is around 16 gauge, so it was overheating with heavy use. I replaced the wiring with 12 gauge which is proper for the 25amps max current that the motor draws and also replaced the socket, and it is good to go now. Keep in mind, that this will work fine with most any garbage disposal with no trouble even up to 2hp as long as it is on for just a few minutes at a time.

It was easy to install, instructions were clear. The hardest part is crawling under the sink and removing the pump soap dispenser. I already had the electrical under the sink. Took about a 1/2 hour to install. great price point
