dent city
Black colored you can from almost anybody, I needed that......... but ......waaaay more importantly I have an extremely tight spot in a closet situation where this needed to be in my workspace. IT was within 1/4". Perfect.................................... for the fit Otherwise, yeah I knew it would be flimsier than my old trusty red colored Popular Mechanics brand. And from other reviews I crossed my fingers. I didn't receive a completely trashed unit, but be aware that these come from a very slow boat from China over some very rough seas from what I can tell. It was dented in a few spots on the back.... where you dont really see it, but it was dented in 3 small spots. The rim along the top of the bottom ( I ordered an 8 drawer 2 piece tool box set with wheels .... sometimes they place AMAZON reviews in weird places or with loosley related item. I read a review once on a vacuum I wanted to by only to find out the raving review was for an AM/FM radio...so ) OK.... so the bottom part has a rim around the top.... bent, I straightened it somewhat, not perfect though. The top drawers tool box will hide it but thats not the point. There is a side panel that is held on with 2 screws you take off to pull out the upper toolbox... very flimsy and , yes, dented, I had to actually hammer it with a ruberre hammer to get it close enough to wedge back in and "hold" it with screws The "concept" of the design is thoughtful, there was rubber liners in all the drawers, the sliding drawer hardwaer seems OK-ish, but I havent put full weight on them yet. I have just regular household drivers, ratchet sockets pliers etc etc and a few things for working on my guitars . IT came with a set of mulit coloered/ multi sized plastic bins to use in the drawers, all this is nice. it is an "OK" unit that is flimsy but will suffice for around a low volume / usage situation. It isnt anything I'd put in a garage though.....at all, remember , its in my closet in a bedroom turned into a recording studio with a guitar workbench... for this this use it gets a C minus for a grade remember, I needed that EXACT size..... it was the ONLY reason I bought it was to fit in that exact very tight spot

Decent enough size
Solid for small tool storage unit versus the ones at Home Depot or Harbor Freight.

Not for the professional
It is very flimsy and cheaply made. It is fine for me and anyone who has tools just for everyday maintenance at home. Purchase a Dewalt, Snapon, Cornell, etc if you are a mechanic or a professional contractor.

Works for what it's designed for
Seems sturdy enough for what I need it for. Would have been nice if the keys for the upper and lower locks were the same.

Completely damaged
This product came in a completely damaged/ripped box. The bottom portion of the tool box was all dented to the point my husband had to pound out the dents just to get the bottom door to work. Other than that os served it's purpose just fine.

the bolts are a problem
super easy to assemble except for the 4 bolts on the bottom that lock the 4 drawer tool chest to the inside of the cabinet. One must remove them to get the tool chest out of the cabinet, but you may need a power tool to break the bolts loose. I am 75, female and needed one to loosen the bolts.

Totally disappointed
I order this toolbox and the first issue was damaged , two large indents. Second issue the keys provided get stuck in the lock. Very flimsy built. If not so much trouble to package and send back due to size it would be sent back. I don’t recommend this product to anyone. Totally disappointed! If it would have allowed no stars to submit this review that’s what it would have gotten.
