I purchased these for my father who has Alzheimer's Disease. He has always been a bit of a pill popper, and now that we have to regulate everything with his meds and vitamins, when he practically tears up the house looking for pills, we just give him a couple of his "special pills," and he calms down. Well worth the money just for that bit of peace.

The placebo work great to alleviate anxiety problems with an elderly family member. Thank you greatly!

Be careful using these while using vehicles, machinery or power tools! They are known to make you very drowsy! I mistakenly took these with my normal dose of liquid medication (20 fl. oz. of bourbon flavored couch medicine) and the next thing I know, I had accidentally drilled a hole in my leg while using my Black and Decker cordless drill-driver to drill a hole into the block of wood I held in my lap. It hurt so much I swerved off the road and ran my truck into elderly Mrs. Douglas' cherry arbor, flattening it completely. Well, with my truck damaged, I had to take Mrs Douglas' John Deere rider mower to get back home, but because I was trying to apply my own torniquet, I ran slap dab into the township's backhoe. The silly willies left the dang thing parked in front of a big trench with only a a half dozen contruction signs, 4 smudge pots and 23 flashing lights. Boy yo, when ya leave something out in the middle of the way, at least give a warning or two. But, anywho, I lay there in the cinders until ol' Mr. Mahoney called the dang ambalance and they took me right away to the hospital. While they were plugging up the hole in my leg, setting my broken arm and stitching up the cuts in my face, I told them I thought I may have overdosed on these Placebo pills. They got all serious for a minute, but for some reason, when I showed them the bottle of them, they all got a funny smirk on their face. I guess it musta been the stress of knowin' that I was in serious danger, but I kept having to tell them that I was feeling like I was overdosing. Well, the scared musta wore off, because they finally started giving me stuff that made me throw up...stuff like charcoal and ipecac. I guess they were really relieved that it was coming up so well 'cause they spent the whole time I was retching laughing and holding their sides. But they all had tears in their eyes, so I know they cared! After all this stuff, they said that they was afraid for my safety and told me they were gonna keep me at the hospital for 72 hours...something called a sick hold, but they kept pronpouncing it like "sike". I feel for people that ain't got good talkin' skills. Anyhoo, I tell ya, these pills must be really strong if they had to keep me for that long. But I gotta say, that shore was a funny hospital floor. Cages in front of all the doors and all the rooms had some kind of fluffy wallpaper on them. The bed had straps too...I guess them's for the in case of an earthquake so you don't fall outta bed. Well, enough ramblin' on for me...just make sure you, can handle how strong these are, 'cause otherwise you'll end up in a funny hospital room with a hole in your leg, a broke arm, cuts on your face...and drool...I forgot about how much I drooled for a couple of days after that.

It would be nice if people would refrain from the smart *** reviews and actually review the product. I have a mother with fairly severe Alzheimer's who goes into furious rages when I don't give her all the pills she wants. She wants pain pills, laxative pills, sleeping pills, all in great quantities. And when I don't give it to her, she becomes physically and verbally abusive. I need something like this, and so does she. This is a serious problem, and I would like a serious review. Not smart ***, who can't see past their own little self centered world and realize there is a whole different world out there with problems you couldn't even imagine.
