Due to the low price (my salon generally charges ~$80 for this size) I was afraid I would receive this and find it filled with some knock-off oil. I was delighted when I discovered my fears to be unfounded. I compared smell, texture, and result by applying this to half my hair and some from my drained salon-purchased bottle to the other half. Same silky-smooth locks and sweet fragrance. I have been using the bottle purchased through amazon for a while now and have not noticed any difference; my hair is still baby-soft despite being bleached (then colored, then bleached, then colored - poor hair!) and maintains a healthy appearance. My hair has continued to grow like a weed as it did when I purchased through my salon. I have long, fine hair (though lots of it) and this oil does not weigh it down one bit. Fabulous product - I use this daily with the It's a 10 Keratin spray and my hair has never been happier despite having endured the trauma of multiple color changes. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone. Weightless moisture and shine and hair "nutrition" that I believe contributes to my continued hair health and growth despite damage.

I bought this oil a few years ago at a salon and loved it.. the smell was great and I got incredible shine. This is not exactly the same. I compared the ingredient list and it is slightly different. I am keeping it as it is very lightweight and still gives my hair great shine... the smell is pleasant and scent will probably not be a problem if you never smelled it before and are not expecting a certain smell. I am old with grey hair that has gotten dry ..I massage a lot of oil into my hair and this is good. I aaply to wet hair and then reapply when dry to really shine it up. this does not make my hair greasy at all.

My hair dresser introduced this product to me. Makes my hair look shiny and healthy. I straighten my hair every day and get blonde highlights every 6 weeks and you would never know after using surface hydrating oil. My hair looks and feels soft. The price was great too. I pay $23 for 2oz. At my hairdresser. This was 8oz for $46. This will last me a very long time. A small amount goes a long way.

Smells amazing, clean with a light refreshing sweetness. Does not make my hair greasy or weighed down looking. A little goes a long way. I put a quarter-sized amount to my wet hair after a shower before I let it air dry or use heating tools on my hair. My hair stays soft and healthy. I get compliments all the time on my hair condition and smell.

I'm not sure what has happened recently but I have bought this for years and all of the sudden there is nothing being done to prevent the bottle from leaking in transit. I received this with 1/8 of the product gone, leaked all over my other purchases. So annoying! It's too expensive to not get a full bottle. Love the product though!

Product itself is amazing. It has a very thin consistency and is a quick absorbing oil that leaves my dry ends very hydrated. However, package arrived a mess with oil leaking out, even leaking on other boxes. Bottle should have been sealed. Therefore, I didn't receive a full bottle.

I use this daily to help keep my hair silky. If I don't, it feels as though my hair is made of straw! It lasts me about 3-4 months and I have thick hair down to my waist. A little goes a LONG way with this stuff! If you're on the fence about it, I strongly suggest trying a smaller size as a trial. The 2 oz. lasts a month and is good for trying it out.
