Hello - So, this is my 'brief-ish' review of this very nautical slash "Kenny-from-Southpark" looking desk fan from Aecooly. Right out of the box, it turned on to 100% battery; fully charged. This nautical style fan is very simple to use. QUICK TOUCHES: Quick touch Bottom button - on and off - (Pic 1) Quick touch Minus button - (Pic 1) - reduces the fan speed by increments of 20 Quick touch Plus button - (Pic 1) - increases the fan speed by increments of 20 Quick touches total 5 increments, going up from 20 to 100; i.e. 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 The fan is pretty quiet up to about 40 - anything higher than that, you can definitely hear it - but I don't find it that loud or annoying. I'd rather have the cool of the fan, so the sound doesn't bother me When you first turn it on, it defaults to the battery percentage and then switches back to the fan speed; while the fan is on, it will flip back and forth - it's not very bright, so it's fine for me in the bedroom at night. LONG TOUCHES: If you want to set the fan at an in-between speed, then you LONG press the Minus or Plus button and it goes up in SINGLE increments. From 1 to 100. I've used it the last 4 or 5 days and I like it very much. One other observation to consider - the surface material is very smooth and slippery - if you're moving it about, just bear that in mind. It's a little harder to grip then smaller fans and there's no handle or indent to grab onto. To solve that, I may add some Velcro or some textured stickers to make it easier to grip and carry. Charger is USB A and USB C - (Pics 3 and 4) - you can charge it whether the fan is on or off. I did notice it charges a little faster when the Fan is not turned on. The battery does seem to go down quite quickly, so just bear that in mind. It's possible with the high Fan speeds, it uses up the battery much quicker than one would expect. As mine is plugged in on my desk, it doesn't really affect me. I got this as we are now working in an Open Plan workspace with shared A/C and Heating and Fans are a must, moving forward. My current desk fan is much smaller and only has 3 speeds - you can see the size difference between the two in Pic 5. I like this fan, if it's a wee bit big for my desk; but the speed and power of the fan does exactly what I need it to do. Thank you for your kind attention.

The fan works, but it ALWAYS breaks on me after like 2 months. This is the second fan I bought that has stopped charging and working. I would look elsewhere for a fan.

I picked up this Aecooly desk fan, the Chic 01 Lite model in beige, a little while back. Needed something for my nightstand, and sometimes for when I'm tinkering in the garage. Gotta say, it’s been a pretty solid little unit. What I appreciate is the range of speeds on this thing – it says 100, and while I haven’t counted every single one, there’s a big difference between the lowest and highest settings. The lowest is super quiet, just a little whisper of air, which is great for when I'm trying to sleep. Crank it up, and it can move a decent amount of air for its size. The digital display showing the speed is a nice touch, better than just guessing with a vague dial. Being battery powered is also a big plus; I can move it around without constantly looking for an outlet, and it's handy for the office too. The touch controls are responsive enough, no real complaints there. Now, it's a small fan, so it's not going to cool down a whole room or anything, but for personal space, it does the trick. The beige color is pretty neutral, doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. I haven't run the battery down completely in one go yet, so I can't speak to the absolute maximum run time on a single charge, but it's lasted for several hours of intermittent use without needing a plug. So far, no real downsides for what it is. For a 50-year-old guy like me, I just want stuff that works without a lot of hassle. This fan delivers. It’s quiet when I need it to be, gives me enough of a breeze when I’m working on something, and I’m not tripping over cords. The range of speeds means I can get it just right, whether it's for a bit of air circulation at night or a more focused breeze at my desk. It feels sturdy enough for a small fan. It does exactly what I expected it to do, and does it well. No fuss, no muss, just a good little fan. That’s five stars in my book.
