GREAT bulbs! But installing is tricky.
Okay, so, the first set I ordered seemed to be dead. I installed them into my Aspektec bug zapper even though both bulbs rattled terribly when moving them around. I turned the zapper on and.....nothing. So I returned the bulbs. I looked all around town with no luck on finding bulbs like this, so my option was either order another set of bulbs here on Amazon or throw the entire zapper in the trashcan, wasting over 40 bucks. So I ordered another set of bulbs and crossed my fingers. Received the new set, installed them, turned on zapper and......nothing. Aaaaah!!!!!! So, bug zapper was left sitting on the counter in defeat. I was disgusted. THEN a friend showed up. He put on the leather gloves I had sitting next to the unit, twisted the bulbs into place, plugged it in, turned it on and.......Waaahhhhh (angels singing) I had a bug zapper again! Turns out, installing the bulbs is a scary thing. It seems the bulbs might break right in your hands, but my guy friend grabbed the bulbs with gusto, twisted them into place and voile! It seems I just hadn't been man-handling the bulbs enough to get them into place. I DO wish Aspektec would design an easier way to install the bulbs. But if you have a nervy friend, I suggest you offer them a drink or two in return for installing your new bulbs.

Replacement tubes 2-20 watt for the Aspectek bug zapper
Ours runs 24/7. We've had it for 3 years. One bulb burned out so I replaced both. Access them from the rear of the unit. Very easy to change. It kills just about all flying insects. The large beetles(stink bugs) sometimes just pop and bounce off. They die but don't fall down to the bottom.

Defective upon arrival - One Bulb was DEAD ON ARRIVAL
Upon immediately opening this package of 2 UV Lamp Bulbs from ASPECTEK for my 40 watt bug zapper when I received them, I disassembled the front grill and installed the 2 new bulbs only to find out that one of the two bulbs delivered was defective and dead. The bulb did not light up at all. After being very disappointed and after taking the bug zapper grill apart to install these 2 brand new bulbs that were dead / defective, I ventured on to read the Amazon reviews here and found that MANY buyers of this 2-Bulb Package from ASPECTEK had the same issue with dead / defective bulbs being sent. This seller ASPECTEK really needs to re-evaluate their Quality Control department and quit sending defective bulbs that do not work as others have also complained and reviewed about here. Shame on you ASPECTEK for continuing to sell defective bulbs when as you can see, so many customers have complained about receiving. It's obvious that ASPECTEK is intentionally sending defective bulbs to unsuspecting customers without checking them before shipment.

Satisfied
They were easy to install. It gave me time to clean the inside of the zapper.

Burned out after only 6 months
Florescent light bulbs shorten their lives when ever turned off/on. My bulb has been left on continuously though. Florescent bulbs are typically supposed to last 20,000 hours with one year equal to 8760 hours. So these bulbs should last about 3 years; certainly not 6 months 😞
