ROXON S503G Flex Companion 9 in 1 Modular EDC Tool D2 Pocket Knife (Purple)

I picked up the ROXON S503G 9-in-1 Mini Multi-Tool EDC Pocket Knife, and it quickly became one of my go-to everyday carry tools. This is a great tool for anyone that ever wanted the functionality of a Swiss army knife, but is frustrated that there doesn't seem to be one with the toolset you want. This multi tool can be customized with the tools you want. You can set it up once and forget it. Or you can change the tools on the fly and tailor your tool for the purpose you need that day. This set comes with a good collection of tools to get started with and you can buy additional implements for $5-$7 each or in combo packs available here on Amazon. The best part is the price is very comparable and a bit less than most quality Competitors in the Swiss army style knives market. This is especially impressive since the knife on this multitool is made od D2 tool steel which is very sharp and much more tough than the average Swiss army knife sold in this price range. This is a great little tool that is easily operated with one hand and is adaptive to your needs unlike other multitools and the tools they offer are very well made and well thought out. I'm loving it!

if you want a pocketable multitool that gives you the flexibility of making custom choices of the tools that are loaded_and_the opportunity to make changes depending on your situation, this is for you. I love being able to have micro pliers, and scissors in a “TSA friendly” set up that I can fly with or bring to work while reserving the ability to have a decent cutting edge or serrated edge for work around the house on weekends. I love the fact that you’re able to swap attachments on the fly without needing a hex key or other tool to do so as well. there are also great custom 3-D printable options (the silver cladding in the attached photos versus the black stock) for the side cladding that allow you to store tweezers and the micro pen attachment without taking up a tool slot. The fact that you can lock attachments in as well as out using the switch on the handle is also a great feature.

The Roxon S503G is a good multitool. The side scales are really nice, look good and grip well. The full size bit driver is really good. Many multitools have the flat phillips or one size phillips. I find that most do not work well, they slip easily in light applications. The knife has the edge sticking out to deploy the knife. It works well but a few times I found my finger slip off and go over the knife blade, sharp side. But over time I will get better at deploying the knife. The closing of the knife uses the slide button. The button is a little sticky but has started to break in better. It does work ok.There is a slider button to lock the knife and side tools in. That is an interesting feature. It makes certain the blade will not pop open while in your pocket. And if you drop the knife the blade will not open up. To get to the other tools you need to open the blade first then use the slider to pop out the tools. Nice that you do not have to use your finger nails. Would be nice if the knife did not have to be open.The tools can be removed and different tools added. You can remove and add up to four tools. However, some tools are double wide and need to spaces to fit in. So four tools max but you might be limited to 3 tools if you want a double thick tool. The good news is you can carry other tools with you and flip them in or out as needed. It is easy to remove or add a tool. In general I find I don't need or want scissors but I can remove those and add a tool I will use. Then if I think I might need scissors then I can add them back in. I do like the depth gauge for measuring up to 1.75"or 4.5 cm. The file actually works on this tool. So many tools have a file that does not file much.The knife blade that comes with the tool is D2 but the shape is not what I like. But you can replace that with a handfull of other knife styles. That is really cool.The saw blade is really sharp. The scissors are kind of think but work well. I can cut paper towel up to 4 folds with ease. Most scissors do not pass that test, I have tried many. It comes down to the tightness of the scissor blades and the sharpness.Comparing this knife to the Roxon Flex Companion, the Flex has a bigger more serious knife. And that knife deploys incredibly easy. It has like 5 tiny ball bearing on each side of the knife. That is an amazing knife. But it is a little bigger and heavier.Overall I like the ROXON S503G, I think it is a great carry tool. Put in the tools you want or need and save the others for other trips. After trying a multitool with replaceable tools I find it hard to go back to another multitool.

I’d been searching for an EDC multi-tool that didn’t feel like a brick in my pocket. I came across this one in a YouTube video and immediately thought, “What is that—and how have I never heard of it?”The size is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The build quality is excellent, and the machining is flawless. What really sets it apart is the versatility—having 20+ interchangeable blades and tools makes it incredibly adaptable to whatever job I’m tackling.This is easily the best EDC multi-tool I could have asked for. I’ll definitely be buying a second one as a backup, and I plan on picking up a few additional blades to swap out depending on the task at hand.

I was hesitant because I own several other brands that cost a lot more. While the build quality is not quite at their level, it is good enough to not think twice about. What I mean, there is more “slop” or play in the tool for the various attachments. But it’s not enough to cause any issues. The tolerances are just not as tight.However that is quickly overshadowed by the sheer price savings, and the fact you can quickly and affordably buy different inserts and customize it exactly how you want it.This is where this tool shines. As I mentioned I own several other more expensive brands. I find I use 1-2 tools out of one, and maybe a different tool out of another. With this tool you build it with just the tools you want.I find I choose this tool over all the others as my goto daily multi-tool to EDC.They won me over and I’ll keep buying their products.

Everything is included to let you reorganize your EDC in under a minute. Nothing is under spring tension, so the clear plastic blade holder lets you remove and install tools without a fuss. There are dozens of tools available, although many of them are just different sizes of hex bits.I decided I had more use for a diamond-coated file, and a rope/seatbelt cutter than an awl and can opener. The standard D2 tool steel knife blade can take a razor edge. All of the tools have a mirror polish, but I adjusted the camera so the flash wouldn’t overwhelm the image.I love my Leatherman tool, but if I don’t need pliers, this tool lets me easily change my everyday carry, every day.

Cumplió con mis expectativas, para EDC es una muy buena opción, bastante versátil, la hoja de acero D2 mantiene bastante el filo y no he tenido proble con óxido, ahora compraré la versión mini.

La mejor navaja que he tenido, y he tenido muchas y de todas las marcas. Pero está tiene buen acero. No se parece a pan navajas en diseño. Si eres amante de las navajas, de bueno acero, buen filo, fácil de cambiar los múltiples accesorios que le puedes poner. Los bloqueos que lleva para cada hoja,y un seguro para la navaja entera. No ocupa mucho sitio, y lo lleva todo. (Alicates, sierras, agujas e hilo, lápiz, ✂️, 📐, Lima, 🪛, limpiador de escamas por si eres pescador. Distintos tipos de hojas de corte. De sierras. 2 tipos de hojas de bisturí etc . La recomiendo 100x100, nooo te arrepentirás y no me pagan por decir todo esto, es la verdad....

I love the Roxon tools, and carry the Roxon mini as my EDC. I ordered the “new version” of the Flex companion (with the tweezers and toothpick), but they sent me the old version so no tweezers and toothpick…

Me ha encantado el concepto de configurar la herramienta como quieras y que la marca tenga un catálogo amplio de usos que puedes adquirir. En la caja te vienen dos usos extra para añadir y una llave para por ejemplo poder quitar el clip como es mi caso.
