COLGATEOptic White Battery Powered Toothbrush, Soft

Update:I realized i was putting in the battery wrongly. The battery case has 2 springs on one end and 2 flat terminals on the other. Generally (in my experience at least) the spring end is the negative terminal while the flat end is the positive terminal and batteries should be inserted with their terminals aligned. I only recently noticed that terminal markers are engraved on the flat ends, indicating which should be negative and which should be positive. When i inserted the battery accordingly, the brush worked.I'm updating to 4 stars. Not making it a 5 star as it doesn't brush as vigorously as expected.===================================================================================================Didn't last more than 3 weeks! It started slowing down and i though it was the battery and replaced it but it didn't come on. i tried various battery brands including the energizer brand it came with, toothbrush is dead as a dodo!! what a waste of money.

I change it every three to four months and working great all that time no battery to change I’m sure it would go the ho year on the same battery but I like to replace at least three or four times a year the ho unit Hygiene purposes

This is the second time on Amazon via the Colgate Store, that I have tried to order what was pictured and described as Colgate 360 Optic White battery toothbrush and NOT the 360 Optic White *SONIC* toothbrush. I absolutely hate the sonic toothbrush as it does not clean any better than a regular toothbrush and it costs three times as much. I looked at every single picture to make sure that I was not buying a sonic toothbrush. All the pictures showed a regular 360 Optic White (non sonic) toothbrush that showed the TWO batteries and how to replace them as well as the details on the brush head that I was looking for. What I got is not what was pictured. This is called Bait and Switch. Returning and boycotting Colgate products because I'm that angry.

This was a replacement for my cheap Oral B battery tooth brush. Its just ok in my opinion. The size is great, the brush heads are good and have a nice little tongue/cheek scrubber on one side. The issue is the draining. You really have to rinse the toothbrush slots out around the head really well or they clog with tooth paste. The other issue is that they don't dry out if you stand the toothbrush upright in a holder. If you do, when you go to use it again all this gross water comes out onto your hand. I end up leaving mine on the side of the sink tilted slight down so the water can drain out after each use.

Perfect size and good price also!!
