Flossaidflossaid Dental Floss Holder - 3 Pack

I've used a few of these now and they always end up cracking and breaking out from the hole where the bobbin is riveted on. Previously they've lasted up to a year or so each but the latest one failed within three months. Going to try a different brand next time round.

It takes a few tries before getting the hang of stringing the floss and using this holder without breaking the floss, but once you do, it works really well. My back teeth are really close together and difficult to floss using just my fingers or with other floss holders. Start by wrapping the floss a couple of times around the button then run the floss up one prong (or finger) of the holder, across to the other prong and then back down to the button and wrap about three times. Always wrap the floss in the same direction around the button and it will be easy to remove by unwinding when you are finished. I've found it helps to pinch the holder and floss just above the button between my thumb and forefinger - keeps the floss tight.

Unfortunately the floss aid is rather big to manoeuvre in your mouth and both times I used it the actual floss broke.
