FlexiFreeze Professional Series Ice Vest

I love this ice vest. I enjoy so many outdoor activities, but during AZ summers the heat causes migraines. This ice vest has helped to keep my body cool during early pickleball games when the temps are still around the low 90's. It takes 12 hours for the ice packs to fully freeze and last about 1.5 hours in AZ. I purchased another set of ice packs that I keep in a cooler and rotate them out. So, far it's been a good investment and helps regulate body temperature allowing me to enjoy outdoor activities. It's lightweight, non-restrictive. It is easily adjustable for small to larger body types. There are two front pockets to store small items.

I bought this vest to keep cool while working with my bee hives wearing bee suits that tend to be very hot, and it works great. I have only used it once so far but i worked my bees for about an hour and stayed very cool the entire time. When i took my vest off the ice was still froze. I would highly recommend this vest for anyone who struggles in the heat.

Makes work in hot under-roof areas safer and more comfortable. Surprised that having cool packs directly against my t-shirt wasn't objectionable. Does lose its cool after 2 hours or less, so good to have a spare set of cool packs in freezer to swap out as necessary. Swapping quick and simple. Adjustable for all sizes. Sits close to body and doesn't snag against obstacles too badly. Couple of pockets work for small tools. Fabric and zippers seem durable.

I do like this product and it is one of those things that is an imperfect solution but waaaaaaay better than no solution at all. I get about 1.5 to 2 hours of cooling effect before I have to change the ice out, which is easy with the Velcro. If I bring 4 sets of ice inserts I get through most of the day nice and cool. Its a lot to carry into work, but worth it if you have a hot job.

There are a lot of cooling vests on Amazon. This one is what I would call "extreme cooling" because it is literally ice against you - 32 degrees. There are others that I have tried that last longer than this because they are not ice, they are a fancy compound that runs at around 60 degrees. Here is how to decide the right one for you: If you need intense cooling that doesn't last as long - go with this one. The quality is awesome I do tons of physical work wearing it and it rocks. The replacement packs are very cheap and you can have a bunch to switch out if you need longer cooling. This vest also has a sweet velco system so it is easy to swap. If you need less intense cooling, go with the fancy 60 degree cooling vests. If you are doing physical work outside in hot sun you will overpower these vests though. They are more useful for less intense, longer term cooling needs. Maybe fishing? I still feel like it wouldn't be enough for me. Also note the replacement packs are extremely expensive.

Only stays cold for 1 hour and then cool for 1 more hour.

Brought this for horseback riding in the FL. Heat, have used it a couple of times so far has worked well. Takes a couple of tries to get it to fit right. Overall pleased with it.

This certainly looks and feels like a quality product, but I wear xl in men’s shirts/jackets and this is way too small. If you have anything but six-pack abs, it isn’t going to close with the ice packs inserted. It would help if the manufacturer would make the sides adjustable like the shoulders. It’s too bad, as it looks like a quality item. Update. Before I returned it, my partner tried it in. He is a solid men’s large. Much too small for him. Changed review to one star.
