A Love Poem For The Nemesis Knicker
I'm a big connoisseur of men's capris pants. I think the Zoic Men's Reign were the first I tried and I've been hooked ever since. I use them for bike riding so I don't have to worry about the crank and grease but they also feel a lot more comfortable than the conventional pants I own. Paired with a nice pair of warm socks they are fine in cooler weather. I suppose I look like a freak and/or poseur bike messenger to some people but whatever. These are my favorite pants ever. The first reason is that they are excellent and keeping you warm in the cool weather (keeping in mind my cool weather is in the SF Bay Area and not Chicago) and not getting you all sweaty if the weather is warmer (nice little ventilation holes in the thigh area). They are perfect to wear on my bike commute to keep me warm in the morning and then swapping the underwear out and wearing at work. The second reason is that they are extremely comfortable. They are made of a soft and somewhat thick material that is just the right amount of stretchy. The third reason is that the built in belt thing works great. I was a size 36 (large) when I bought them, have lost weight and now wear the 34 (medium). The larger size pants cinch up well without looking and feeling overly bulky still. These things can accommodate a wide range of waste sizes. These pants are plenty durable for mountain bike riding (and street riding) and I would recommend them over any mountain bike short, especially if you'd like something for riding in other seasons besides summer. I wear bike shorts underneath them and they feel fine. I've tried some yoga poses in them and they work great for that, too, as I suppose they should.I own three pairs of these things and will probably buy more if and when the larger ones get too big. I'm almost tempted to buy other styles of Prana pants and have them hemmed up so I can get them in more colors.

Great fit but where's the SPF protection?
These are comfortable and easily adjustable. I like the styling and prefer over-the-knee shorts. Zippers work well. However, there is no indication of SPF rating in the product description. Otherwise I would have given this a "5."

long!
first off, these are manpris.... not "knickers" or "3/4 pants".once you get past that and can live with it (i love manpris), they are quite long. i would have kept them if they had been about 2 inches shorter. i think they are longer than the 20 inches stated in the description. if you are shorter than 6' tall, these will come well past the midpoint of your shins. good cut though, and they were super comfortable when i tried them on.

SUPERB!
I absolutely love these knickers (though I don't love calling them "knickers" for some reason). If you're looking for this style for your workouts, outdoor activities, running and/or yoga, GET THESE PANTS!The stretch nylon is medium-weight, water-resistant and perfect for practically any activity that would require ease of leg movement. The gusseted inseam is also a great feature providing added comfort and added range of motion. These pants are a bit pricey, but I think they are well worth it. They are made of quality material and the attention to detail and construction are excellent!TIP: For sizing, definitely visit the prAna website to get their fit chart. I am a 31 waist and usually wear a medium, but I got these in small and they are a bit loose on me.

Good for climbing & cycling
These are made from a more stretchy fabric and have a slightly narrower fit than the prAna cargo shorts that I also have. I've found them great for climbing and cycling. The leg openings do stick out a bit, which I'm hoping will relax as they get worn in.

Comfortable and functional
This is the second product I've purchased from Prana. It was the fist pair of pants, and I was a bit trepidatious about buying them without trying them on. The knickers, though, when they arrived fit perfectly. If I had been a little heavier or lighter they still would've fit, because the waist is adjustable. The material is quick drying, light weight, and a bit stretchy. They are fantastic pants to wear when biking. I wore them for hiking and biking excursions in Colorado and they performed admirably. The one zippered pocket was nice to have on the bike to secure my wallet while I rode. Good comfortable pants at a fair price.

Good 3/4 active pant
Very cool and comfortable active 3/4 pant. Size large fits appropriately for a 35-36 inch waist. Looks to be a little heavier and more durable fabric than my Mtn Hardware 3/4 pants.
