Not bad, not great
I like the concept of this portable lightbox. As w most things, some tweaking could be done. Its a small box....use it for jewelry, small models, etc. I found larger trinket boxes (6" length) to be even to big to use in this lightbox without to much interference. The LED lighting is very bright so no additional lighting will be needed. Youre able to select which led bar is on or have both lit at same time. I found this helpful as some shinier objects picked up the bulb glare, regardless of where object was placed, when both LED bars were lit (see pic example). When finding your powersource, make sure to not overamp your usb cables and blow the LEDS. They are 1amp LED bars. I have a 2.4 dual port USB wall hub w 2 standard 10ft micro usb cables as my set up. Box is the sturdiness you would expect from thin plastic sheeting folded and snapped into place (think same material as the novelty origami/puzzle lampshades thatvwere popular a few years ago). So long as youre not being rough, sturdiness wont be an issue. Snaps are a better upgrade than from the magnet closures in other brands. The backdrops are adhered by "hanging" onto small cut "pegs" in the back plastic panel. Backdrops are so so...not my material of choice and texture will certainly be picked up in photos...but they dont seem to collect lint/hair/etc easily. The top "circle" for overhead shooting is....well...uselss? Its just a disk cut from same plastic that sits loose over the camera hole. If your circle gets bent or warped, it allows for light leaks...this disk really serves no function in my opinion. Took a front picture with and without disk in place...no difference. That being said, I had both LED bars on. There may be a slight diff when having only 1 bar on. This def saves time on having to set up larger, more proper, light boxes/tents...but depending on what youre photographing...saving time may not be worth it. All in all, it works well for what I bought it for (macro shots and small jewelry photos). For $15 its not a bad set up by any means and its another gadget for my photo equipment "arsenal"...but I wont be getting rid of or neglecting my proper light box anytime soon. Gave 5 stars bc while its kinda "gimmicky", it does exactly as its marketed to do, price is fair, and its easy to use.

An Excellent Addition to a Photographer’s Kit!
I’m very pleased with the light box. It’s very easy to put up and the two light bars are awesome. Having an opening at the top is wonderful for overhead shots. i love that it’s so portable! With its own carrying bag you can easily slip it into a backpack, or even a medium sized purse or bag. It does not come with 110v adaptors, but if you ya power bank that won’t be an issue. I have but 2 complaints. One, I wish they had designed a similar type of opening for the front so that you could reflect light back onto the object you are photographing. I’ve seen other models with a solid wall with an opening so you could maximize brightness and still get a great shot. Because the walls are not full.. they have a curved cut out, it’s very difficult to get full reflection. My second complaint it the size. I wish they had offered it in a larger size. Other than that I am very happy and would definitely recommend it!

Works very great! Just needs a bit of design touch-up
I'm generally quite pleased with this portable studio. I've had to use stacked A4 papers to get a white background for photographing small objects and it's been a big hassle! So, for me, this has been a perfect solution!. It's very easy to assemble and quite portable, just sits 'quietly' (lol) in a corner when not in use. I think it's a good enough solution if you'll be taking photos of small/medium-sized items, and won't be moving the studio around too much. The rose in these pictures has not been touched up or graphically edited, and I thought it came out great just as is. I have taken couple of other pictures and pleased at the outcomes as well. I'll point out that there are a few downsides in the design of this studio though, (why I gave 4 stars instead of 5) - The "SLOW DOLPHIN" printed on the back shows through the white background and is sometimes very visible in your picture. Printing only on the sides would have been enough. -The snap buttons were quite hard to snap together, had to use a pair of pliers -The circular top cover slides off very easily if you move or shake the studio even just a little bit. There's no friction or anything else holding it in place. I guess the intent of this was for placing and removing easily, but the top wall does not stay quite flat when assembled, and the outer surfaces are so smooth and slippery that little movement slides the cover off and it can be bothersome. -The LEDs are out in plain sight and you can sometimes see the array of tiny light bulbs on your picture if you're photographing a reflective object like glass. Getting the right angle to avoid this can be a pain. Other option would be to switch them off and use natural lights or camera flash. Would be better if the LEDs can be shielded somehow. -It also does not come with any power supply. I'd assumed it should but I had to hook up my own 5V power source. (Happened to have one handy). Each row of lights requires its own 5V supply, they're not electrically connected, If you're adventurous with electronics, you could wire up your own mini circuit for switching them on and off, simultaneously or individually. These don't bother ME quite so much, personally. I somehow worked around them and it does what I need it to do. But the manufacturer might want to fix these for a better user experience.

Great for lighting, but flimsier than expected and one snap keeps popping open.
Lighting is great! A great concept that needs serious improvements. I would pay a more to get better quality. I Hate that the logo shows through so you have to work to shoot around it or have to spend time later photoshopping it out. Bottom left snap is really hard to snap, and when you finally get it snapped - it pops open.
