Mivi 3.4A Dual Port Smart Car Charger for all Smartphones

Hi All20days back i have purchase this and after long usage reviewing nowFirst of all this is a "Mivi Smart Charge 3.4A Dual Port Car Charger". Which can be used in any car having car chargning port. Size of the charger was Exactly 6.2cm long in length and width at top 2.0 cm and at bottom with 2.8cm which was having smooth stylish finishing. You can find two charging usb ports at the bottom where combinly provides 3.4A output. This is not a Fast charger, but it gives max output according to the mobile capability, so it is called as smart car charger. It is also having led indicator which was blue in colour. Works with all kind of usb to micro usb cables, tpye c and lightning cables.Especially it was small car charger with length of just 6.2cm long, where i have faced issue with nokia car charger, which was long in length hits to our left leg while driving. as some of the car charging ports are located near the legs. here we does not face any issue with this. almost 80% of the charger goes "IN".Comes with 1Yr warranty, please go and register according to the details given on warranty card in the box.~~~~~~~~~~~~~Charing Time:~~~~~~~~~~~~~Presently i am using 10.or G 64Gb varient mobile. with 4000mah battery. I have charged two mobiles in our "Honda city car" using Amazon basic Micro usb cable.---------------------------Charging to 10.or G mobile:---------------------------It took almost 58 min to charge the mobile from 13% to 100% while travelling.---------------------------Charging to REDMI 4 mobile:---------------------------As well as i have also tested on REDMi 4 which was also having 4000mah battery. It took almost 53 min to charge from 22% to 100%.Note:Both are charged seperatly not at a time.~~~~~~~~~~~USB Ports :~~~~~~~~~~~There are 2 usb ports, where both are capable of providing 2.4A out put charging, but at a time only port can give 2.4A output and other can provide 1A output if you are using both ports for charging at a time. and this is the smart car charger. it detects the mobile capability and provides the max charging according to it.For Example:if you are charging a "Feature phone" its capability is just 1A or 0.8A input. So this charger gives the 1A output only, so that the mobile does not gets damage as well as if you are charging a Smartphone and its cability is 2A input. First of all the product comes in a nice cardboard box which looks and feels premium for a product with a price like this so thumps on that.Now the Design---------------------------the car charger is made up plastic with a glossy finish around it, the plastic docent feel cheap at all it feels pretty durable and strong but I will not suggest you toss it around roughly in your car. the connector points are made up of standard metal, nothing fancy around there.the two USB output ports are front facing with a bit of elevated face which makes it a bit more convenient to use while driving. \Functionality------------------------The product page says that it gives an max output of 3.4 amps through both USB ports. with one delivering 2.4 amps and the other 1 amps.it is quite enough for most products nowadays like headphones, smartphones, speakers and etc.the top port supports MIVI smart charge technology which will detect the connected device and output the most suitable current output for it.It also has built in safety checkers for short-circuits and malfunctions. and it also supports all type of cables like micro USB, USB type-C and lightning.Conclusion------------------It covers up all the basic requirement for a car charger and for the price tag of 599 RS I would say its totally worth it. It has nothing fancy to offer but does stand up for a good all around car charger.

** Initial Impressions **● Thw dual tone finish in black and white looks good for the charger. There is the mivi branding on the face of the charger● The connectors are solid steel build and retracts when pressed● The rim of the charger is thicker than the stem and overall look & feel is upmarket** Usage & Performance **● When connected to the car, only the small rim projects out which is around 2 cms. I like this since my old charger had a lengthy part of the charger projecting out which I was not very happy about● The charger keeps a firm connection and it does not come out after some time. I had this problem with one of my other chargers where the I have to press the charger frequently to keep the connectors synced● A small LED lights up when power is in and this helps us to know there is power. The LED is very small and has low brightness which helps to keep a low profile● I have tested my phone and the charger supports quick-charging● There are two USB ports with a combined output of 3.4A. If there are two phones connected, only one of the phones will recieve current enough to charge quickly and the other phone gets charged in normal mode● As per the product description, the charger has surge protection, over-voltage protection, etc. However, I have not tested these** Summary **● The charger keeps a low profile in my car and does not take too much space outside of the socket. This supports quick charging which I really needed in my car● I paid Rs.599 in Nov-17. With the advertised features like surge protection, etc. and in comparison with other chargers available, I think this is comparably priced and I rate FIVE stars.
