So, I got this head set because my Logitech Unit had a defective microphone. Plus it was heavy and did not sit well on my head.Surprisingly this unit for being under 30.00 served my needs (Logitech unit cost me $65.00).While the quality of material is not of the highest grade, the functionality and features merits that level of a rating. **Update** Now all of them quit working and there is NO support from the company. Support phone number listed online is out of service and there is no other support available, so I'm out a few hundred bucks.I bought 6 of these for my kids for Christmas and just past the return date 4 of them have horrible static sounds coming from them after normal use. Worst headsets I've ever owned. I thought spending a bit more for these was a good investment. No more Trittons for me.

These gaming headphones sound good and the mic is clear. Sometimes other people say that they can hear static from my side but unplugging the headphones and plugging them back in usually solves that problem. Make sure that the detachable mic is securely locked in place as well. The construction is completely plastic so be a little careful with them. To get the surround sound working make sure to download the program or drivers for the Kunai headphones from their site. The little box that shows whether surround sound ins active or not get a bit hot when using it for extended periods of use.Red if its inactive and blue is if its active. I dont know if it's supposed to be like that or not but it doesnt seem to be an issue so far. I did test the surround sound and it worked with the various different locations. Overall the headphones are decent for the price.

Headset in general is pretty average. The sound quality is amazing. Nice comfortable volume level. But the mic is god awful. It sounds like someone put the mic in a box and sealed it with cement. Also the headset quality dealt rather cheap. But that didn’t bother me very much. I was thinking the headset would be a bit bigger also.I’ll probably keep the headset and buy a new studio mic or something.

It was a good headset with high quality. Unfortunately it seemed to get worse over time think well Tritton has died so well I have had to use this headset with another head set to talk. I used a cheap $15 usb headset which I wore to talk and wore the tirtiions to be able to hear and the other headset to communicate. Windows 10 sucks so maybe if you use something else maybe you can get a full headset but well, I could not get this headset to work by itself yes I can update my bios, my drivers, realtek audio it just eventually came to a point where this headset just wouldn't be able to hear and input audio therefore as much as I have liked Tritton and for whatever reason they are dying despite being a decent gaming headset company it just well can't be a complete set. So with much love I bid farewell. I assume if you are gaming you want to be able to hear what your gaming is inputting to you as well as be able to input commmunication to teamates. This headset stopped being able to do the second part of this valuable gaming aspect =(:::. I have tried waiting through different bios and realtek and other sound updates to see if this headset would work again and well I have worn two headsets for well way too long and nothing has improved. So, again it was a good headset but it seems to have fallen out of time and I have had to move on.

This is not just a pair of gaming headphones with amazing 3D audio, the sound quality will not defeat audiophiles considering its price and main usage. If you care about sound quality and look for a pair of headphones for all around usage, you should place the order.Pros:1. The sound is not great and feels if you are in a theater. Not a true 7.1 headset at all and feels cheaply made. Really disappointed at purchasing this look further into other gaming headsets.
