To Dance With the White Dog

This movie has a sweet, slow pace to it. I wish I liked it more than I did. It was just ok for me.

I first saw this on a VHS tape over 15 years ago an I had to buy it an it took me a long time to find it again an I did at a flea market in Peru Indiana.. Since then several friends of mine have asked borrow it to watch because it is a truly beautiful love story of these two people an there family. So now that I have found it on Amazon needless to say I was extremely thrilled.This movie will touch your heart an sometimes bring tears to your eyes, but in the same way make you smile, an clap your hands....What I don't understand is I have never it seen it in any rental / video stores in the all time classics section because it definately should be. I am also curious as to why the Hallmark channel never shows it. But I really believe anyone that is truly into family value movies, would want this to be a part of there collection. I truly hope that everyone will get this movie an post a review about it.Thank you;C. BrigginMichigan

I am 59 years old and have been married for over 38 years. The first time my husband and I saw this movie is when our grade-school children bought it for us for our 10th wedding anniversary as a surprise. I know...how sweet. One of my favorite movies ever! Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn...it doesn't get much better. What epic acting! Ok...it might be Hallmark sappy, but sometimes that is exactly what we need in this often-cruel and sad world. I love the message: marriage is a good thing. My husband loves it too, and he is no wimp by any stretch of the imagination. :)

A classic. My wife bought this on VHS when it came out. We watched it until the poor old tape just wouldnt go no more. We waited along time for the DVD. Ive seen mixed reviews. Non about the story acting or actors. All were the quality of the DVD. Ours was as perfect as we could as for. We watched it as soon as it arrived . If you like movies about real people you cant go wrong with Dance with the white dog.

My late husband and me watched this movie on tv on vcr and on dvd many times,( and kept our tissues handy.)...It was a beautifull movie. .... Jessica and Hume Cronyn is missed by all who watched their acting..... This movie is great !!!! I am now 88 yrs .old and watched it last week Gladys Hicks

I got this for my parents and I am glad that I found it in vhs, tapes in the brand new shape, and runs very well.

The story was heartwarming and I got the DVD at just the right time.

Loved the writing and acting!

Bought this for my mum & it's a lovely film. Disappointed it is not available to buy in the uk on dvd
