JLL® Ventus 1 Air Rower, 2019 Model Rowing Machine Fitness Cardio Workout with Adjustable Dual Resistance, Air and Friction Resistance, 12-Month Warranty, Black and Yellow Colour

I had the rowing machine for a couple of weeks now and still enjoy it. It's a good workout and I can only recommend it.Very good was:-The assembly was easy, well explained and the included tools did all the job.-The fold up function is working very well. It's easy to remove a pin and use it for locking the rail into the stored position.-The quality and feel of the materials is good.-The air vents help to keep cool.-The packaging was good and protected the machine well during transport.-The delivery was early and quick.There were a couple of smaller short falls:-The computer is counting the seats moves only. Therefore I've added a bike computer on the flywheel which gives me additional motivation & information.-The friction break makes sure that you have to re-start the fly wheel each pull. The satisfying "build up of speed", which would give you this "rowing feeling" is not very present, but at this price class it is a very good feeling.-The seat movement counter is sometimes to triggered. It might be my leg length, but for me, the sensor would be better placed, if it was 100 to 200 mm further back.Over all a good machine for the money.

Assembly was not too bad, but instruction manual can be improved much more to make it much easier. The sensor was getting damaged with moving seat, so pushed it in a bit too much in, still seems to be working, although probably not quite right to to do that. The resistance is not that great even at the highest level, it could have been better if the range of resistance was higher.

I was a bit nervous as to the quality and performance of the JLL air rower because it is so much cheaper than other air rowers but I should not have worried. It does everything I want. I needed a compact rower and one not too heavy to move around and this rower really is light and folds easily to store against the wall. In use, although light, it is totally stable and the resist once levels are all I need for a good workout. Thankfully it was quite straight forward to assemble (although I did wish the diagrams were were a bit bigger for my eyesight). A fault on the seat was quickly replaced and JLL customer support were very responsive, could not have been better.

This product is poor quality. The belt frayed within 3 uses and the ability to change the resistance went too. JLL were good though, sent an unpgraded rower in its place, that broke too (monitor)... they had to send a replacement wire.

Love this rowing machine, had it for 8 weeks and used it nearly everyday at a pace of 28 reps per minute for 20 minutes each session. I started at tension number 4 and each fortnight I have raised it another notch up. I used to do a lot of exercise biking, but wanted to work on my upper body, and boy does this work. I have increased my chest by 2 inches within 4 weeks and the rest of my upper body is shaping out really well and my belly has shrunk, I look and feel awesome! My 20 minute daily workout has shifted the most pounds compared to my exercise bike can do. It’s definitely a great workout. As for storing this machine it folds up and easy to push into the corner out of the way. So pleased with it, highly recommend buying to get you started. Solid and works perfectly.

I purchased this machine from a recommendation from the JLL customer service team, but when I assembled and tried out the machine, I found that there was no difference at all in resistance when I tried changing the tension levels. I also found the machine very noisy. After speaking to JLL Customer Service, they promptly suggested that I exchange it for the R200, which I did. The R200 works better, there is clear difference in the different resistance levels and it is much quieter, but the build quality on the Ventus is better.I also found it odd that I paid £175.99 for this machine as soon as it was released in early September. The following week, the price was significantly dropped to £144.99. This also made me think that maybe there must be issues with this new rowing machine. At the same time, JLL increased the price of their other rowing machine, the R200.Anyway, the service from JLL was great, they promptly sent out an exchange and refunded me the price difference.

Fast delivery. Accurate descriptionAlthough meter does not have same reading as your gym machine e.g. time/500m and distance in Meters it has the number of rows completed not a clue on how this converts to distance. Overall happy with product. Good work outs

Good compact rowing machine. Have been using now for about 6 months and will say could do with more resistance. Also, the strap has gotten a little stretched so doesn't fully retract
