Review: Excellent book for Beginners and Students in Sound - So I am working on Pro Tools 11 and I am a beginner learning to edit a lot of sound for my classes and I only have a background of NLE (Non-Linear Editing: Avid MC7, FCPX, Adobe Premier) So I purchased this book to learn some of the basics and I would say that this was a great way to learn about the new software that was release by Avid: Protools. Each chapter is very detail from helping you start from how to create your own session to how to edit, then also how to export and all of the proper things you need to begin with. If you are a beginner and interested in working with sound or composing your music, purchase this software and buy this book to get to know the basics of Pro Tools. I am not done with the book but if there was anything I did not find very helpful, I will make another review. Review: Five Stars - Good instructional layout, easy to follow.
