cheap, plentiful, and perfect one-trick tool.
Perfect, cheap. I used to plug the headphone hole so that I don't get the pocket lint plugging it up. As a front-pocket cell phone carrier (I don't put it in my back pocket nor do I use a holster), I wanted something to keep the lint from clogging up the headphone hole, as it used to do. This product is a cheap, plastic piece that doesn't conduct (so you won't have your phone trying to think there is a headphone, headset, or other control in the headphone jack) that fills the hole without damaging your phone. It has a slightly raised flat end which is easy to get a fingernail under to pull out. Makes it simple to use. I have put this on my phone, my wife's phone, and on all the tablets that have a headphone jack. It was a great choice.

Perfect!
Easy in. Easy out. They don't fall out easy. Opaque for ports with optical out capability (so no laser beams shooting out around them). on headphone ports with a speaker cut off switch, they activate the switch rendering the speakers hardware mute without plugging in any headphones. they remain snagless when sliding devices in and out of cases. I've been needing these for over a decade. works with any 3.5mm headphone port. they won't hardware mute a software switched port but then nothing does. I'm using all ten in this pack. If I ever need even just one more, I'll order another pack. I just wish Amazon made it easier to find previous orders for re-order purposes. (Hear me Amazon?!)

Keepin it clean but aren’t pullin it out
These were okay. Challenging to remove if you don’t have a tool or nails to help and forget it if you have a phone case on.Kept the port cleaning and saw dust free for my construction worker, who seems to purposefully catches the dust in his pockets!

When I ordered this, I was only planning on ...
When I ordered this, I was only planning on using them for the mic and headphone jacks on my computer (as I have a USB headset, so all they do is sit there collecting dust). I was wondering what the heck I was going to do with the other 8 (though it turned out to be 9, as the pack had 11 - BONUS!).I almost made it a mission to find a place to put them - the headphone jacks on my phone and spare tablet, the mic and headphone jacks on my mother's laptop. Then I pulled my tower out to do some work on the cable management and it hit me - the empty speaker ports! The motherboard has 5.1 channel audio, but I only use two speakers on my desk, so there's 5 empty jacks. Boom - used them all.The only thing is, apparently some jacks are a little shorter than others, so this sticks out of my spare tablet's jack a little bit. But it sits almost flush with every other port I put them in.

Detailed review on these plastic plugs
Okay serious review. I purchased these because I received a new tablet for Christmas and my wife bought me a phone. I wanted some protectors for the headphone jacks because all my headphones are now wireless and having holes on your devices can let dust and other small particles into your phone.Anyways, quality wise, these are plastic molded plugs. You can see the mold outline with leftover plastic throughout the entire plug including the top of the plug where it will be exposed. If you purchase these plugs, be prepared to get a file and shave off the mold extra because it probably will not fit flush or push in all the way. However, this may help with having it fit snugly into your headphone socket with the downside that the cap may break-off from the plug itself and leave you with a bad time should you ever need to use your socket again.I recommend this product for those of you who will probably never use your headphone plugs and have a case on your phone to offset the little lump from the cap. Now, since these are made from cheap plastic, they will bend if you try to force it into a socket. As another reviewer said, it's probably best to cut off till the second ring to fit more properly and all the way in. Some devices could not fit the entire plug so I had to cut the ends and shave the leftover plastic moldings. In conclusion, this product does what it is designed to do. However, I don't think the $5.xx price tag is worth it. If it came with 20+ plugs, I guess it would be worth it.

Works well for plugging unused jacks - cheap
Used two of these to plug mic and headphone jacks that quite working on my computer case. It was bothering me that they were there and couldn't be used (especially when other people would use my computer). They have nice snug fit and will be nice to have as I'm sure another use for them will pop up around my office at some point.

They are perfect
They did just what I wanted them to do. I bought them for my laptop since my HP has 3 3.5mm jacks ( 2 headphones, one mic) in it and I did have rubber dust covers in them that were annoying to put in and would fly out when removing them, since they were small, they were easy to lose. These do stick out of my jack ever so slightly since they're 3-pole jacks and not the 4-pole found on most modern day cell phones; which at first was annoying, but later I came to like it since it made removing them easy since it had somewhere I could dig my nails under. They are made out of a very stiff plastic like rubber, so they are rigid enough to jam in and aren't annoying like the silicons were that I had before. Another great thing is that these didn't turn off my external speakers like some have done before, so now I can cover the ports and listen to my music.
