I tried out this mat that my friend bought and let me borrow because of my back pain. I do notice a difference when I use It and my fiancé hurt his shoulder and was in pain and used It one time and did two sessions of 20 minutes on two different modes and said the next day his shoulder felt perfectly fine and totally healed! So after trying out my friends mat I ordered us our own! Red light therapy is really good but you have to get a product with lights that are real and actually have enough power to penetrate the skin. I don’t know how to test how strong the lights are or how to tell that they are real but we can feel a difference when we use It so that’s my only way of knowing. This isn’t as strong as some more expensive lights or a cold laser light but It is a great product for every day use for people who do labor jobs that are hard on the body and I think this is worth the price! I would recommend to just use It on straight skin so that there’s no obstructions blocking the light penetration so It can work as good as possible. The heat level feels good it’s not as hot as a heating pad but gets warm enough to help loosen up some muscle tightness. Seems like it’s made pretty well and the cord length I think is good It reaches from behind the couch to where I sit and reaches from the plug next to my bed as well so I think the cord length is fine! As for size, the mat covers my whole back so I like It and It also is flexible and can be wrapped around your arm or leg and It comes with a stretchy Velcro belt to wrap the mat around and secure It if you need It on your knee ankle or elbow etc. we like It!

This is one of my most used amazon purchases. As an athlete I have to prioritize recovery and this is an essential part of my recovery routine. I use this every night sometimes multiple times on different parts of my body as it is super easy to use and versatile for any area. I specifically love the heat feature! I used to be an avid heating pad user but this has fully replaced my heating pad for cramps and sleep. I travel with this everywhere and recently bought my mom one that she travels with so it is super portable. This device also fits and spot and works consistently. I highly recommend this product!

Edited to add 1 star back, for customer service. ComfyTemp emailed me after my review, unsolicited, to offer a full refund, with no conditions. I am not taking them up on that, as I am using the pad after removing the plastic. But in a time when many companies make returns/refunds difficult, good customer service deserves recognition, especially when it wasn't even requested. 5 stars for customer service. Original review--2 stars off because there is a plastic sheet over the lights (which is not mentioned in the description). I have two other devices from ComfyTemp, and I love them. One is for the shoulder, and has a soft fabric surface. Very comfortable, not sweaty, has done wonders for rotator cuff issues. The other I just got- the belt with red lights and vibration, for the back. It has a soft leather like surface. Again, comfortable and not sweaty. (Direct skin contact for both). This pad has a thick clear plastic cover that makes me sweaty and sticky just touching it. There is no way I am putting this plastic on my skin and then heating it up. Using it over "thin clothing" negates quite a bit of the depth of penetration, especially important if you are trying to get to the level of the hip joint. Since I like the other 2 products I decided to just cut the plastic sheet off. There is a black foam around the lights, so it won't be as durable as the other devices, but I'm just using it at bedtime. Comfortable without the plastic. ComfyTemp needs to adjust this design.

Works great, reliable, no failure after a lot of use. Is providing results in had hoped for

Suggested by my doctor, I use this device several times a week. It provides relief for my poorly healed back injury. Within 20 minutes, I am usually so relaxed, I fall asleep, which for me. Is welcome.
