Yes, you can open the bottom to upgrade ram and storage. There are 2 M.2 SSD slots , a 2.5 inch sata slot, and 2 DDR4 sodimm memory locations.

I just ordered this laptop. What is the hdd cable for (do I have to use it) and what are the upgrade screws for? Laptop is for revit use for student.
