Jingle Bugs (David Carter's Bugs)

I bought this book for my own children and again for my grandchildren.

My son was given this book 30 years ago & just about wore it out. I bought a new one for my grandbaby's (due June) 1st Christmas!

We love this book - it's great for the kiddos!

We love all of the "bug" books, my son reads them over and over and over again! And its not even xmas time! The bug books are fun to read for all ages!

Good Book

My son adores this book. It's pretty well made and has mostly stood up to his enthusiastic abuse. The final page has a light-up star and plays "jingle bells." It's annoying, but worth it for how happy it makes my boy. Each page has a very clever and different pop-up interaction that really makes the book fun and exciting. Your kiddos will enjoy this through the whole Christmas season.

While the book pages themselves were in good condition ( and the pop ups were in great shape), the last page ( the singing page with lights) did not work at all. This is a huge selling point of this book and I wish that would have been included in the product description. I understand this is a second hand book and I can’t expect perfection but I would of liked a better used condition details.

I had this book growing up, and loved it. In fact, I loved it so much I kept it and it needed repairs before sharing it with my daughter. Now that she's six I thought it was time to get her one of her own. It's smaller than mine is, but I suppose if I had looked at details that small bit of dissapointment would have been avoided.

I love these books but had never seen the Christmas ones before and it is better than expected! The last page even plays music and had a flashing star on the tree!

Already broken but only because we read it multiple times a day for weeks. Very cute illustrations and perfect for little hands to play with. The song at the end is cute and my toddlers liked making the music start and stop. I would only recommend doing something different for the ornament bug in the envelope. Very difficult to put back in (even for adults) and I just had to throw it out.

I grew up reading this book under the Christmas tree and am over the moon excited to read this to my children. Oh the nostalgia. The pop ups are so cute and believe it or not my original copy of the book (from the early 90s) is still in somewhat decent shape after years and years of reading it.

All of David Carter’s books are fun. I just bought this for my new Grand. I am sure he will enjoy them as much as his cousins.

This book is great, super fun for kiddos to read around Christmas time. I love all of the interactive parts. This is great for kids who can't even read yet or kiddos who love to read and have story time. A great family Christmas activity.I had a small issue with the quality but the seller handled it quickly.

My son is one 1/2, and he first read this book when his Nana read it to him. The book belonged to his father and it had the wear and tear that comes with being almost 30 years old. His father ordered it as a surprise, and after it came in I don't think I've read another book other than his Goodnight Goon book for bedtime. My son carries this around with him, and he's managed not to tear it or make it look like it's also almost 20. The pages are sturdy, the story is cute and funny, and my son is a happy baby. I am very happy with this book, and I'm going to look into more books by this author.
