Fantastic
These are the kind of art supplies that make you go creative and use them a lot. I love them like I haven't loved any markers before. They do bleed on certain papers, but always look fantastic. I recommend you try them on every type of paper before using them, since the colour can look different on different paper.

Terrible colors!
Just a little help for the buyer, the color names in this set in English from top to bottom are: pastel red, sepia light, apricot, beige, and flesh tint. This is not a set of pink pens going from light to medium to dark. The package says these pens are made in Germany but I did not realize that Ecoline was a Japanese firm. It is very misleading on the box with the calligraphy font, as I did not find the colors to be coordinated well to create beautiful gradients with Calligraphy. The tips are nice but you absolutely need to use "smooth" paper (ie. marker paper, not coloring book paper), and they are too juice if you want to practice with them on top of tracing paper, the ink will soak through, it is just too much liquid. The brush tip does flow nicely, but they need to hire a professional colorist do improve their color offerings, these colors are really a huge disappointment, really a quality of color that I would find in a magic marker for kids, not beautiful colors that are elegant or sophisticated. Considering these cost $5 each, I would expect a much higher quality of pigment.
