Mori-NuSilken Tofu, Extra Firm, 12.3 Ounce (Case of 12)

Item arrived quickly, delighted to be able to source this tofu, I find it excellent for using in desserts or often use this instead of yogurt to increase protein intake. I wrap the tofu in a couple of clean tea towels and put it into the fridge overnight to absorb the whey and then blend the tofu with lemon juice and rind and a small amount of maple syrup - delicious! Very pleased with promptness of delivery. Thank you

Tofu is recommended for anxiety in the book Calm your mind with food, and this is probably the best one i have tried for that purpose

My first trial of this “extra firm” variety. I normally use the “firm” tofu of the same brand. It’s double the price of the latter but, I found that there is virtually no whey in this one, which seems to account for at least 25% of the volume of the “firm” tofu. I read a tip for freezing and then defrosting tofu, which gives a firmer texture, but it can be quite messy and rather a faff. (It allows the whey to separate from the tofu to be poured away). Given the pros and cons, I shall probably change over to the “extra firm” variety. The taste seems the same with both. I like it and prefer the ease of use it offers for my purposes.

Good product to add to vegetarian meals, but you will have to drain before you use. No taste. Once you open the tofu you must eat within 48 hours. So as a single person you would have to plan your meals appropriately.

At last I've found extra firm Tofu. The only one I've found that doesn't break up when cooking.Great product

It’s an acquired taste, but we like it in stir fry’s

Tastes ok but basically just falls apart out of the box. It’s supposed to be extra firm. I’m upset I bought so much. Could barely press it because it just sort of explodes into bits. Not extra firm at all.

Took for ever to arrive, and when it did it was most disappointing. Never ever again. I even bought a Tofu recipe book, that didn't help.
