Place each piece on the charging board. A red-and-green flash confirms activation. A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours.

What should I do if a moving piece is mistakenly recognized on another square before reaching its destination?

After connecting to the Chessnut app, go to Chessboard Settings and set Limbo Move Delay. Chessboard settings -> Limbo move delay -> set to 800ms -> Chessnut Move delay -> set to 2 seconds.

What do the charging board indicator lights mean?

Light Off: the piece is not aligned with the charging slot. Red: charging. Green: fully charged. Flashing red and green: use a higher-power USB adapter; a 25 W adapter is recommended.

How do I re-pair a disconnected chess piece?

Fully charge the pieces, place all 34 pieces on the board, then open Piece Management in the Chessnut app to pair them again.
