Seals Very Well!
Being a retired medical technologist, I've used Parafilm many times over many years. It works very well to seal odd shaped containers and the such. It now works very well to seal the plastic medication vials my wife uses for her eyes when we travel. She cuts the Parafilm into a small strip and uses it to seal off the neck of vial. Since we don't do a tremendous amount of travelling the 125 foot long size guarantees it will be a more than lifetime supply. I'll have to decide who to leave it to.

A great invention
This tape is the best if you are traveling with liquids and are concerned about spillage or leakage. There is none of that with this tape. It seals tight even if you plan to fly. The pressure will not break the seal. It does not get dried out or cracked. Even years later it is still in place. When it 's time to remove it it comes off easily and quickly. It can be reused if necessary. I wish all containers were sealed with this kind of tape.

Products like this remind me that laboratories are more fun in almost every way.
Some folks may come here because it's a natural progression for introverted laboratory staff to no longer talk to their supply vendors when Amazon is available. Who wants to talk to that bubbly salesperson and try to feign small talk when you can just 'Buy Now With 1-Click™'? I came here because Parafilm works great at home for those applications you would otherwise struggle with cling film/syran wrap over. Need to cover leftovers? Parafilm. Small bundle of nuts or bolts? Stretch and wrap with this instead of using a ziplock. In case you're not intimately familiar with it already, this is a film which is designed to undergo plastic deformation as both a mechanism of adhesion and containment. It's cling film. In purpose but not much other resemblance exists. It's not difficult to handle, because there's no static charge to battle with when you pull it off the roll. Each small waxen piece clings to a piece of paper. A single 'square' is suitable for closing most smaller-mouthed containers. Think water bottles, soda bottles, test tubes, Erlenmeyer flasks. It's a great product and I haven't found it to react with any foodstuffs yet.

Great for plant work.
Big roll of the usual Parafilm. Works great for plant propagation as it maintains moisture and can be stretched to a tight seal much better than polyethylene can in my opinion. It is a life saver in applications like bud grafting and micropropagation where you need to seal off, secure, and maintain moisture to the bud or vial.

Does what it says and last a long time
Lifetime supply in one roll. I got this to seal my travel bottles of liquids and it does the job. I carry a few inches extra to reseal when I need to, but it seems to work fine when I reuse it. It has saved me more than a few times. I'm sure I'll find more uses for it as time goes by.

Great for leak-sealing everything!
Great for preventing leaks in all circumstances. I used religiously as a chemist, and now I use on travel toiletries to keep leaks/spills at bay. Even oils stay safe in their containers!

This stuff is amazing for sealing things air tight
If you don't know how to use this stuff, just look it up on youtube. This stuff is amazing for sealing things air tight, both in the lab and in the kitchen. A little bit goes a long way. Just be careful as it can be dissolved by solvents (i.e. gasoline). Some examples of very useful things I've used it for:• Sealing a box of cream of wheat to stop from spilling• Sealing opened wine bottles for next day or two (also prevents spills if sealed properly.) As a side note, I have sealed a wine bottle with Parafilm, turned it over, and shaken it up and down to see if it would leak, and it didn't! If you stretch the film too thin, however, it will break (I know from firsthand experience).• As a way to hold two (or more) things together temporarily without the stickiness of tape or glue.• As an emergency condom (JUST KIDDING DON'T TRY THIS)
