HERSHEY'S Candy Assortment, JOLLY RANCHER and TWIZZLERS, 235 Pieces

Decent assortment, but I did not realize the chews are not plastic wrapped, so I'd feel weird giving them out for Halloween. It makes me annoyed, especially since these tiny little chews count for the piece count.

Plenty of candy for treat boxes, as long as the box is a small box. Good enough variety.

Not as many Twizzlers if I usually get and some of the other bags I've boughten. But, you get a different type of bag every time. They only had the tiny Jolly Rancher pieces instead of the long ones that I love. Oh well, it's a surprise every time.

Okay mix, could use more jolly ranchers and Twizzlers in mix though.

Great for Halloween.

This is a huge bag of candy for both Halloween and for "Halloween" - otherwise known as "Haha, I'm totally buying this for the trick or treaters and co-workers and not so I can demolish this bag over a relatively ridiculously short period of time, Mr/Ms Checkout Person!". The beauty of Amazon is that while you do have to worry that the checkout person will realize by the umpteenth bag you've brought home since September that these candies are not meant for children or your work colleagues.* You may pay a little extra, but in exchange you get delicious candy delivered right to your door.As far as actually giving it out goes, this will definitely suffice for a lot of households who get a moderate amount of trick or treaters. It will also definitely work for the average work environment where you may have about a dozen or two people dipping their hands into your candy over a longer period of time. For bigger places, you'll probably need another bag or two. There's a decent variety here, although if you know you will have chocoholics, you'll probably want to get another bag for that since this is only Twizzlers and Jolly Ranchers.The candy itself is pretty good and if you've ever had Twizzlers or Jolly Rancher candies, you'll know you're going to like this stuff. Granted this bad may be pricier than what you may pay at grocery stores or similar, but there's also a convenience factor here in that you won't have to worry about whether or not the Mart of Walls has this in stock or having to experience the soul sucking factor of walking into their building.** Plus if you're worried about temptation, you can always leave this in its box until Halloween. Cardboard isn't very appetizing to look at, after all.*Seriously though, don't binge eat that much candy. It's not worth the tummy ache and possible type 2 diabetes.**Support your local run stores, but seriously, big chain/box stores are kind of awful to walk through.

Nice assortment, there are three flavor Twizzlers, cherry pull a parts, and twin strawberry. They were fairly good, but the cherry seemed to have a strange flavor, I mistakenly thought it was a mild red hot (cinnamon) flavor. None of the Twizzlers have a strong flavor, but that's to be expected. I would have liked to see some with the sour fill, but maybe that's why the Jolly Ranchers were included.Now I've long held the tongue in cheek viewpoint that Jolly Ranchers hard candies were invented by dentists to improve business. I pulled loose fillings and have broken teeth on the larger pieces, so I've avoiding buying any hard candy for years. The assortment here includes suckers, small hard candies in clear wrap, and small soft chews in opaque wrap. I had a problem with the suckers, some were OK, but many were soft, the kind of texture I've found in suckers that have been lost and found after a few months. They either pick up moisture or oxygen, I'm not sure which, but the taste and texture is changed. The sucker has a poorly sealed wrap, which probably contributes to the condition. The chews were sour and I liked them best, the hard candy was similar to the original Jolly Ranchers, but has a benefit, it's smaller and easier to break down without braking your teeth if you are careful. All in all a decent Halloween assortment, a decent price and a good blend on non-chocolates. Recommended, but use them up fast, I don't think this would keep very long.

This is just what I needed. It's big enough for the all the kids I could expect on Halloween. Best of all it's candy I can ignore. Not saying there's anything wrong with Twizzlers and Jolly Rancher!!! I like them, I'm just saying I won't be uncontrollably tempted to binge on the leftovers November 1st!This 4lb bag is BIG. It's nice to get one bag large enough to provide candy bribes for those trick or treat kids. The variety includes classic Twizzlers along with multi-flavor packs and the peel apart kind too. Jolly Rancher classics are in there plus lollypop and hard candy versions in multiple flavors. A good variety all nicely packaged in individual servings.I didn't let the chance to sample pass by! The candy was all fresh and yummy as I would expect. Perfect for Halloween.4lbs of Twizzlers & Jolly Ranchers perfectly package for trick or treat is just what I wanted. The candy is fresh and I don't need shop for more. That's gets a definite 5 stars from me.
