4 Piece Quick Flip Driver Set

This product, although not an original replacement, has the same quality and I'm very satisfied.

Had to straighten out the arbor since it was not manufactured round. Very difficult to use when not straight. Would have sent it back except for the expense of shipping. Not worth the money!!!!!!!

Shaft is not true, unable to use. Would not buy again..

This is the same as Dewalt, Kobalt, etc. Not anything like the one offered by Makita in the past.

At £6.85 I was perhaps a little optimistic expecting quality but function should be a given. Faults listed in order of discovery - 1) the screw holding the drill bit in place doesn't! No matter how you position the bit or how much force you tighten the screw with, even light drill pressure pushes the drill bit into the holder. 2) the drill is not perfectly centered causing wobble. 3) the countersink bit doesn't actually cut, even relatively soft loft boarding. 3) final straw - drill bit broke in hole eventually drilled.

Looks slick enough but the release mechanism is maddeningly unreliable. It works fine ocasssionally but if it doesn't always work it's a bit pointless.Mid-job with your mouth full of screws the last thing you want is to find the flip-over bit will NOT come out of the holder. Having stopped and wrestled it out you then find it won't lock in place again.It is therefore still sitting in its case, shiny and unused.

Nothing to dislike about this product. It replaced my quite old original Japanese one, which cost me nearly £15 nearly twenty years ago! It was still good until I used a screw-extractor in it about two months ago and it snapped. That was for a single unit too, whereas there are four, all different sizes, for every job. I recommend this to a keen diy-er, or any trades that use these

I own other Silverline products and they are sturdy enough for most jobs. This set is rubbish. Used once and broke a drill bit going into MDF. Stay well away this is crap

I liked the idea but once bought had nothing but trouble it has jammed up twice and now its fell to pieces I'm not recommending this hence one star
