Gourmia GMS100 Power Dicer Plus Multi-Purpose 5 in 1 Electric Mandoline Food Dicer Chopper Slicer Grater and Shredder - Includes 5 Blades

So far I tried only dicing (I have other machines for shredding, grating etc). It diced nicely cucumbers, cooked beets and pickles. Mild cheddar cheese was too soft to dice, and tomatoes got smushed. However, I expected that to happen, because I tried the same with the Kitchen Aid dicer and I had the same result. There is a list of the veggies/fruits that the dicer can dice on the last page of the manual, and I talked to the Customer Service that confirmed that carrots and potatoes are best when diced raw. They also confirmed that raw celery root, raw beets and raw sweet potato are too hard to put in the dicer. Nevertheless, I really like this machine. At first it seemed a bit hard to assemble, but once I figured it out, it is actually quite easy. Cleaning is easy too, because you can just rinse all the pieces; if you do it as soon as you are done, it takes no time. The dicing plate can be cleaned with the provided tool, but I find it easier to just use a brush, and in most cases, the brush is sufficient. I also have to give 5 stars to Customer Service: my dicer broke (a spring just came off while dicing); I called CS, left a message and got a call back the very same day. After I explained the problem, they sent me a free UPS label so I can ship the unit back. As soon as the package was tracked by CS as being shipped, I received an email that they are sending me a new unit. They also replied to all my questions regarding the unit. I must say that I was more than happy with the CS.

I am very confused because the reviews of this product are great but, there is nothing great about this product at all. I used it to dice peppers. half of the peppers got caught in the top so they never got diced and it was a pain to clean out. I used it to slice Roma tomatoes and it basically shredded them. When I grated cheese, the cheese kept getting caught in the top as well wasting about a 1/4 of the brick. It took me twice as long if I would have just done it by hand!!! This is absolutely worthless offering no value whatsoever.

I bought this slicer with lots of hopes however disappointed for following reason when compared with other slicer i bought (.e. Gforce Mandoline). It have nice features however i am rating it as 2 because of - Heavy - as a safy its nice feaure that unless top portion dont fit tight in the bottom portion, slicer won't operate however its so tight when you are slicing and your hands are wet because of food its pain to remove the top portion , which needs good amount of force to remove it, with wet hands you are touching it all over while trying to remove it. - As few customers mentioned in their review with picture, food gets stuck in the front while slicling and its very painful that you need to clean very frequently else food gets stuck and makes it jam, hence difficult to remove. Gourmia really need to resign on this sothat food wont get stuck their and we dont have to open it again and again while slilcing. - some portion of food gets stuck in the mortor part of slicer ( the place where we put top portion of slicer, it have tiny square shape whole where food gets stuck and difficult to clean.). Overall the design of this slicer is very poor and not friendly with lots of issue (of food getting stuck in the front portion or in motor portion else needs very frequent cleaning of front portion). Product quality is good however it needs to be resigned to make it easy use.

Very nice product, very useful and time-saving kitchen product. So far we used it for Carrot, potato, cabbage and all other vegetables and result is more than expected. We haven't used all the blades till date. It broke down in a very first week and we got the replacement from Amazon without any charge. Two area of improvement. 1) it is accumulating vegetables on the front side while cutting so need some kind of window/cut area on the front side to take that product out like the cut-out in the centre below blades rather than stopping the machine and removing material manually 2) require some changes in the design so it can cut all vegetable without any brokage. When I say, blockage, you can find vegetables in the blade after cutting and require to remove manually. Lines of the area of improvements are more than an advantage because we like the product like anything and want to recommend to buy with above-mentioned improvement. Lunch this product in India with price range 1500 to 2000 INR and you will sell it like hot cake, believe me!!!

For the most part, I really like it. The only two disappointments for me, however, is: (1) It's not strong enough to successfully dice a block of cheddar cheese in small pieces, and the Velveeta Cheese is too soft to successfully be diced. (2) Too much remainder of diced and shredded vegetables gets caught while working, and when all is done. It is a fight to get the top off; not an easy task.

Works great-cleans easy-but manual has problems. Black & white instructions but colored blades, & diagram wrong. TIP- must use blue blade with a gray square insert. Otherwise food falls thru. Top & collection cup must be locked in place & blue blade slides under a ridge-or won't start. I keep leaving clear push-tool in place when putting food in machine-I may put a little red nail polish on it!

I love to garden; therefore, my wife and I have an abundance of vegetables to process for the winter. Over the years I have used several different machines and I always felt there must be a better machine on the market. So beginning in 2016, I bought the Gourmia GMS 100 and this summer I got to really put it to work. I am really impressed with this product. Lately, I have been using it three times a week slicing and/or shredding carrots, cabbage, cucumbers, onions, zucchini, and peppers. It saves time and and does a terrific job. g

Awful performing product. Impossible to clean the motor area and lot's of food gets stuck inside that area, because it is not sealed. Forget about chopping - it doesn't work - you tell me how a horizontal action is suppose to chop something up and down???? The manual was terrible with parts actually mislabeled. When using any of the adaptors, the sliced food becomes wedged n the front of the top unit or winds up getting into the motor compartment. The one place it does not get into is the large sized container where it belongs. I threw the whole thing away in complete disgust after numerous tries and am getting a low cost alternative that simply uses the pressure of your hand to do any of the functions. Pro Chef Nicer Dicer looks good. Too bad, someone needs to come up with a slicer/dicer in the sub $100 range that is motorized and actually works.

I would give this product 10 stars if I could. I have arthritis in both of my hands and my skill with a knife has deteriorated as a result. This wonderful appliance has allowed me to once again enjoy cooking because it makes preparing vegetables so easy.

Product looks good but instruction manual says if u use this product u will get cancer as some chemical is used so pls aware before any product check manual too as even amzon team or cart2india doesn't know about this as they also not able give answer because of this company now iam feeling afraid to but any home appliance from any where .

The equipment didnot work and returned need to check the payment has come or not .

It is the worst Slicer Grater and Shredder ever!!! Don't waste your money! I am buying lots of stuff from Amazon and usually very satisfied but this Gourmia GMS-100 Power Dicer Plus is my the biggest disappointment!!! It doesn't work as is described at all. It's a piece of garbage in my kitchen.

its nice made my food taste better however i wish they would be more clear about the cleaning of the product instructions and if they could also inlude a tool to clean the blades
