Guillow's 4503 U.S. Hellcat Model Kit

A nice project for father and son to assemble. Fun for a boy to fly in a large open space. However, other planes in the category would provide similar results for less money.

Product was a Great Activity at our Summer Camp. It was easy to put together.

Title says it I make it. It looks nice. It doesn't fly very well. Don't know what I did wrong.

I wasn't pleased with the outcome of a $10.00 simple glider. Sure it's cheap but the building is more complicated then you would expect for the results you get. I would rather spend $3.00 and get the basic gliders that are 95% ready to fly. This plane broke in three spots after a few flights. Stick with the great old basic planes until these are built better [fly better] to justify the building versus flight quality.

worth it. It is a great model.The decals are a little annoying.

I bought 2 of these thinking they would be a fun project to do with my 10 year old son. Unfortunately nothing about this kit is easy. Parts are so delicate that it's almost impossible to build without breaking something. Once together, it unfortunately didn't fly at all. Not worth the cost or time it takes to assemble.

Very low quality balsa, it was impossible to build with breaking several pieces.

These Kits aren't worth the time and money to put togther. Lots of design flaws in covering, and prop bushing. Guillows you need to do better than this with this kit Design , make it so people feel sucessful after putting the time in to building it. Go back to the tissue covering , make a bushing that wont slide back after gluing in place , and drop the price . The kit isn't worth 14.99.
