These look amazing and are easy to put up. The only thing is that the clear lead then you have the black cord as well. This is my second strand they are pricey but worth it. No trouble outdoors so far and I'm in Chicago.

I ordered 3 boxes of these lights from Amazon to use for decorative lighting in my son's Eagle Scout ceremony. Amazon shipped 3 boxes of lights by Deneve, all three different. Two boxes were the same size while the other would have held probably 30 of the smaller boxes. The large box contained an industrial duty string of lights with large bulbs. I contacted Amazon and they promptly responded and refunded my money. We needed them for the ceremony the next day so we would make do with only 2 strings. When we were setting up we found out that the two identical boxes weren't identical. One was 50' and the other was 20', bummer. We used them since that was all we had at that point. I wrote Amazon about the second wrong box and they seemed to be confused. However, Deneve wrote an asked if I would leave feedback. I told them the story and that a glowing review would be tainted by the significant shipping mistakes. I also told them that Amazon sent me back a message that the lights were no longer available. Deneve took it upon themselves to send me another box with a 50' string. Very decent of them. We like the lights very much and intend to use them for Christmas. I think they will decorate a tree very well. My wife even agrees that we can go with all white lights!My main point is that although Amazon screwed up the order quite badly, they did a decent job of trying to make it right. Deneve, in addition to making some very nice looking lights, stepped in and took care of making things right. This warrants a 5 star rating in my mind. Kudos to Deneve.

I really love the lights, but the lack of instructions for the dimmer is not a good thing. The manufacture is terrible-I had to replace the copper wire back into the crimp connections. Only one wire was in the crimp so I replaced the other two re-crimped and put a drop of super glue where the wire entered the crimp. That worked fine, but I shouldn't have to do this as the lights are not really that inexpensive.

These lights are different than typical Christmas light strands. First of all there are 3 strands of thin copper and one of the strands of the three is embedded with little glass like blips that light up, brightly I might add. I am so happy to have found these and bought three strands of 50 for a particular artsy Christmas tree. I would and will find lots of uses for them for decorating purposes around the house, besides putting them on the tree. I see them in an arrangement over the fireplace, over top of the TV/media wall, etc. Lots of uses. Also the quality seems to be good, so far. I should note, that each strand must be plugged into a strip or whatever source your using. Each end is one of those little black boxes, sorry not very technical. The reason I mention this is because it might be a pain to plug a bunch in, cause most strips run the wrong way....making those black boxes take up too much of a footprint on top of your strip. I hope I didnt confuse anyone, I found an "X" shaped unit to plug each of my three strands into to run to the wall outlet. Hope I helped you in your decision to buy. Very cool lighting, period.

I love thes lights. I use them to light my palm trees year round. I have just started using them, so we shall see how long they last. The only think I do not like is the plug. If there is a lot od dampness the lights will not work. I wish the had a regular plug, and one that you can add additional strands together if need.

An amazing product for the price, I used these to light up a large scale origami project with the lights inside of enclosed capsules of paper. These only get slightly warm to the touch, having their own power adapter takes most of the heat. After testing them inside of my origami each night for a couple months, I'm 100% confident they're firesafe, for myself at least. After being on all night, these are just barely warm to the touch. Created a beautiful, reddish-orange ambient glow in my bedroom through the paper with these lights. My only complaint is that the spacing isn't the same on different lengths of lights. The 120 light set is on 20 feet of wire, putting them 2 inches apart. The 150 light set and 300 light set, respectfully, are on 50 feet of wire and 100 feet of wire making those lights 3 inches apart each (This simply limits the projects I can use them for, a minor inconvenience). Still, I'll be hard pressed to find such good quality lights that have a plug in adapter as opposed to battery operated, will definitely buy again.

I really like these lights, but I purchased the warm white lights and they give off a super white color, however, there are a few of the LED lights that do give the warm white color. However, there is only like 5-10% that have that are that color while 90-95% is super white. Had they all been warm white I would have loved them even more.

Awesome! As always through Amazon fulfillment was quick & accurate. And the product - perfect!!! Realized 4 days before an outdoor dance party that tent lights weren't working. I'm trained as an electrician but there simply wasn't time to trouble shoot circuits and replace traditional lighting. Ordered 3 x 50 ft of these lights and installed in 15 minutes with zip ties to tent frame. As they were low amp led able to plug all 3 into a single power strip with on / off switch into one 15amp outlet and voila! Perfect amount of light - plenty of light but not overwhelming and romantic for dining & dancing. Raves from yacht club members - they are staying as permanent solution even after circuit issues have been corrected. Worth 2-3 times the price!!!
