Niagara Stealth One Piece Toilet

Very Happy with the Niagara N7711 One-Piece Toilets. At only 0.8 GPF these units out performed my old (1997) 1.6 GPF toilets by far! I was surprised how well they worked at only 0.8 GPF. I was a bit worried about the flush performance while I was installing them (I installed 3 units in my house (look for a supply house in Austell GA to get these units at a better price (150 each unit), but after using them a few months, very happy with them. I haven't had to get the plunger out yet, and less flushing to clear them out.Update, still very happy with the N7711 units, but the price is now doubled for some reason. I got 3 units for $150 each back in January 2017; now (Sept 2017) they want 310 each...!?!?

I just installed this toilet today. I had been looking at the Niagara toilet for a while. My wife wanted the single piece model for its sleek look and so that is what we got. We have not yet started using it yet. Will write about its performance later. But I wanted to point out an important design flaw which makes installation of the single piece model in small space extremely difficult. Here are the issues:1. To give it a sleek look the toilet has the water supply line attachment to the tank so it is not visible from the front. If you do not have ample space to sit or lie down at the side of the tank, it is difficult to install attach the water supply line to the tank without looking at it to know whether it is getting installed properly. There is barely any space to operate a spanner to tighten it. We took the toilet out, installed the water supply line and then put the toilet back in.2. The case with the toilet seat screws is even worse. On one side I had space by opening my shower door so I could lie down on that side of the toilet to put my hand through the tiny space at the back of the toilet to put on the nut onto the screw. That too was after adjusting myself, after several tries in some awkward position. It was so bad that when I wanted to get my hand out of the tiny space, I had to struggle with that as well. My hand was stuck there for several seconds before I somehow managed to get it out.I am only hoping the toilet does not disappoint with its performance. I will post it in couple days. For the reasons above, I would not recommend the single piece model unless you have lot of open space on either side of the toilet as shown on the company's website.

Niagara Stealth toilets are the future of toilets using less water (0.8 gpf), having no flapper to ever replace, its extremely quiet and more powerful than any other toilet we have had. The two piece less expensive toilet has the same features. I have installed 2 of these in my parent's home, 2 in a rental property, and 2 in my home primary home.

I was surprised how well this toilet flushed considering its low water use. It also refills quickly and quietly. Be aware, however, that you must attach the seat BEFORE installation, because you cannot reach the bolts afterwards. You should also attach the water supply line before installation.
