These are of reasonable quality bearing in mod the price of the set of 6, which at the time of submitting my review, was £11.82; so good value for a pack of 6. In my opinion, whilst the manufacturer clains that this item is safe to use in the dishwasher, I personally would choose to wash them in a bowl of warm soapy water, rather than submit the handles and the blades to the rigours of our dishwasher. I feel that they are reasonably durable but not dishwasher safe. They are lightweight and that is again reflected in the cost. We intend to use them mainly during the summer for barbecues, referring a heavier and more durable item for use in the home and for the long term. They appear exacty as they are described, a steak knife with a wooden handle. Size is fairly standard for this type of knife and the do cut steak cleaning and effectively. How long will they last is the question. I would sugggest that they will last a few summers, particularly for use dining outside, where appearance as opposed to functionality is less important.

Great steak knives and I often use them for slicing onions too as they are so sharp. Do well in the dishwasher too

Best knives ever. Bread, pizza, meat, milanesas, you name it. I will always recommend tramontina, worth the money.

Nice good looking wooden handles, very sharp blades as they should be, they cut through the steak we had recently with ease, washes nicely, not too heavy, definitely good value for the money, would recommend.

Love these. Bought to replace Laguiole ones that were starting to come apart at the handle. Despite the budget friendly price, these are easily as good, if not better. I thought I may have dishwasher issues with the wooden handles but after about six months of regular usage and washing they’re like new.

Je possède un set de ces couteaux depuis environ 20 ans et j'apprécie particulièrement leur tenue en main, le fait que la lame soit assez profondément incrustée dans le manche (gage de solidité de l'assemblage) et le tranchant du couteau qui est biseauté des 2 côtés. Les couteaux coupent particulièrement bien et la prise en main est très agréable. Le manche est très fin mais est très solide. Sur les photos d'illustration, en bas, l'un de mes vieux couteaux qui ont subi le lave vaisselle et le vernis se détériore depuis quelques années. Au dessus, les nouveaux. On peu tout de même voir une légère décoloration du ton rouge au lavage là ou l'eau n'a pas été essuyée tout de suite
