NO FUN JO DECAF: 2 lb, Organic Decaf Coffee, Medium-Dark Roast, Ground

Absolutely love this decaf! In an effort to only drink organic coffee AND to cut caffeine, I’ve now ordered this coffee twice. No regrets, and I will be ordering it again. (I’ve actually added it to my Subscribe and Save.). Smooth, no bitter aftertaste, love the medium roast (not too strong), and as already mentioned, I love the organic aspect. Healthier while still getting my Joe! Win!

Best organic coffee around with Swiss decaf method

This was great decaf (amazing aroma) but it should be made more clear that it *will not* work well for espresso when used in the bypass of an automatic or super automatic machine, in a moca, or in a espresso filter basket of a traditional espresso machine. The grind is too coarse so you get very weak coffee. I don't have a French press or drip system so I got around this by doing a cold 24 hour soak with the grinds and filtering the result to a concentrate that I cut 1:1 with water.

I grew up on coffee, but in the last year its really started to affect me to the point where I'd be up all night, my heart will start racing, and/or increased anxiety over nothing. I've tried coffee substitutes like chickoree root or dandelion root but absolutely nothing replaces the flavor and comfort of coffee. I was excited that this product has an amazing coffee smell, and while the taste was on the weaker side it still tasted like COFFEE. I had a large cup around 6pm, went to bed at 2am. Tossed and turned restlessly until about 7am, at which point I decided to get up (full of energy) and stayed awake without getting sleepy until the afternoon around 2pm. I haven't had a reaction like that to even an occasional regular cup of coffee in a while so I'm not sure why this happened but I'm not willing to try again. This item is unreturnable so I'll just give it to my mom who does not mind caffeine. I know that most decafs still have some caffeine in them so I did not expect this to be 100% caffeine-free, but like I said I still have the occasional cup of coffee or black tea from time to time and have no reaction as long as I don't over do it on the caffeine intake.

No Fun Jo Decaf has become my favorite coffee. I love that the company uses the Swiss water process for removing the caffeine rather than using chemicals. It has a clean, medium to bold taste with low acidity, so I can drink it throughout the day without stomach upset.
