Impressed with Hertz Dieci components!
Purchased these recently for my work van, a 2018 Dodge Promaster City. This van has 4" woofers in the door from the factory but with some home made 1.5" wooden mounting rings the 6.5" woofers fit fine. Also the van has factory tweeters in the A-pillars. The Hertz tweeters fit with a little customization. I had to separate the plastic layers of the factory tweeter mount and enlarge the mounting hole with a hole saw, then reassemble and hot-glue the mounting pieces back together. I was looking for some budget HiFi components to use in my work van. These seemed to be just right based on the specs, reviews, and price. I've previously used Polk components in my last work van and a/d/s components in my last car. My original plan was to run these off the factory head unit for a while until I had time to upgrade the head unit and add an amplifier and sub. Well I went ahead and did most of the upgrades at once. I currently am still using the factory head unit with a line out converter, feeding a JL Audio 300/2 v1 which is sending 150 watts per channel rms to these components. I realize this is more rms power than these are rated for but I am careful not to overdrive them. So far I am very impressed with them. For a $100 component set, they are awesome. Obviously Hertz has higher end lines than this but for my work van I tend to go more of a budget route. The only reason the JL amp is in there is it was left over from my last system in the car I sold. I only really have 3 complaints about them, however my complaints do not affect my rating as both were things I knew about before buying them and are to be expected at this price point. One is that the tweeters are not as soft as I usually prefer. I typically go for silk dome tweeters. These Hertz tweeters are very clean and detailed though. The other is that the crossovers are basically just high pass for the tweeter. The woofer does not get any filtering at all, just a full range signal that naturally rolls off, which is fine. Lastly, the wires that come pre-attached to the crossovers and tweeter are very very thin, probably 18 gauge at best. I would have preferred 16 gauge attached to the tweeters and screw terminals on the crossovers but I suppose that at this price point more of the money went to the drivers themselves. Accompanying these components in my van is an 8" Image Dynamics sub in a sealed box under the driver's seat being driven by a Polk 4 channel amp running bridged with 150 watts rms going to each voice coil. This along with some deadening material on the doors, Fast Rings foam baffles around the woofers to couple them to the door panel, has given me a very decent sounding system that will play loud and clean. Just what I was looking for. And since the amps and the sub were left over from a previous install, my investment in this system is probably only about $200 in new items and materials. I would definitely recommend these Hertz components to anyone looking for a decent sounding budget set of speakers. I will also probably consider their higher end lines on my next system in my personal vehicle when I am ready.

Amazing speakers at this price point!
Bought these to replace my front door speakers in my 2006 G35. Installation was pretty straightforward but I am a pretty handy guy. They do not directly bolt in so you have to modify the existing brackets to get them in. Overall a pretty easy project. In regards to the sound I think these sound amazing. They have good base response and the highs are crystal clear. I was actually pretty amazed at how much better they sounded in comparison to my stock Bose system. For the money you can't go wrong with these speakers. Highly recommended!

Great Sound
I am a little judgemental when writing reviews. I havent ventured into the world of the higher end JL's, Focals or Alpine's. My experience comes on budget systems with good equipment. Now, these things play great excellent sound quality and imaging. I had to replace a Polk Audio DXI 6500 and I was a little hesitant about these. After buying these I left one side runing the Polk's and the other side I installed these and did a sound test. These player lower and cleaner than the Polk's. Just be careful to get a TRUE (not knock off) brand. I was curious to know why these where made in .P.R.C after doing some research they have distrubtors in China.

BRIGHT highs and meant to be paired with subs.
I have these as my front speakers running off a pioneer deck and an older 400.4 rf amp(50 watts rms @ 4 ohm.) I think they sound great! This isnt going to be the bigger snappier bassier sound you get from a $400+ dollar pair of top of the line Hertz with a bigger magnet and prop cone, but it's still the amazingly bright highs and better than you would expect mids for this price point. As an entry level speaker in the Hertz line, they sound better than most of the top of the line of some of the more common brands. You will need subs for these as these are designed to be components of a complete system. What they lack in bass they make up for in BRIGHT highs. Be sure to not crank them during the break in period. They dont sound nearly as good until they are properly broken in. If you do everything by the book, you will be very happy and impressed with the finished product.

Five Stars
These sound amazing and are extremely affordable. I was considering these and a pair of the Sound Qubed 6.5 component speakers. I ended up buying both. In my opinion, the Hertz sound better. Warmer, more brilliant, and clearer.

Value for Money Speakers
Installed it in my Mitsubishi Montero replacing the stock front speakers and been using it together with JVC KDX330 and the Rockford Fosgate P-300-10 purchased together with it for about two months now. I noticed a marked improvement to the sounds that I attribute to these speakers resulting to better soundstage, natural and clear midrange, and detailed treble that could at times become overbearing. Definitely a lot better than the stock speakers. Its performance made me think of buying the coaxial version for the passenger doors. Highly Recommended.

I can say these are easily better than either of those
After owning two other 6.5" component sets in this price range (Rockford and Polk), I can say these are easily better than either of those, I can't complain for the money. That being said I've come to accept that $100 per pair car speakers just aren't good enough for me. Next time I'm in the market I'll be looking to move up a couple notches in quality, I'll definitely be considering Hertz though.

Not really that impressive
I was hoping that the Hertz speakers would really be a night and day difference from the JBL GX600 speakers I had installed in my son's '97 4runner, but it wasn't much of a difference at all. Certainly not for the $170 I spent on them. Don't get me wrong, they sound good, the bass is clean, even from a Pioneer Avic-7200 head unit that's powering these speakers, mids are clean and not overpowering and with full auto-tuning from the head unit (using a proper microphone for head unit tuning) it is quite nice with a perfect center stage from the driver's seat, but I really had much higher hopes for these separates than what I found. Cannot comment on the tweeters, as I am using a custom-capped Infinity 1½ silk dome tweeter in each door, those are phenomenal for highs and complement these speakers well. I will say that the tiny tweeters that came with the Hertz components really felt cheap and I didn't bother to try them out since my son has the Infinity's already installed. Maybe I'll try their higher line when I'm ready to replace my own front speakers in my 4Runner, but that won't be for quite some time.

Se escucha bien. No e podido disfrutar aun. Pero todo funciona bien. Por poner una pega es que le falta unos aros para asentar el parlante sobre la chapa de la puerta, pero supongo que todos se vendera haci(cosa que yo no lleve en cuenta pero solucione con una esterilla que tenia)
