Spot on
Perfect for what I could afford, ideal for controlling synths and channel volume, would love to see a version with some sort of triggering buttons that double up as mini drum pads

A Must have for your hardware/Software Synths if you need a 2nd or 3rd Controller ( or just have limited space )
I needed a smaller midi keyboard in a certain area of my studio and this fit the bill nicely. Can`t believe that ther are so few 32 or 37 key controllers like this to choose from as 25 keys is lousy for anything other than basslines ! Thankfully it`s `proper` midi as it has midi 5 pin din in & out ports too. I`m also glade that it has 16 controllers instead of bothering with pads at the expense of some of the controllers, many of us have other controllers that will do loads of pads anyways. 15 preset memories is a nice addition so that I can map it to different Synths etc. No need for a computer with this one ( Yippee been trying to get away from the DAW unless I`m making a new album etc )The Sustain button is very useful especially for arps, I`ve been mapping a sustain button to other controllers myself for years ( cc 64 )The ability to map each controller to a different midi channel is a nice touch that you don`t often see & that enabled me to map a bunch of them to the vol control of all my hardware Synths. Strangely though each patch cannot contain a different midi channel for the playing keys which is odd considering how all the controls can ? that means that when I switch to a Preset patch for a different Synth I have to Manually set the main midi channel everytime, also when programming control functions there is no indication afterwards of what midi `cc` number you assigned any of the pots n faders too which is also odd, so have knocked off a star for those last two thingsOverall this is a sensible `real midi` keyboard choice in limited space areas and highlights what many other manufacturers are overlooking as hardware Synths etc have been making a comback as we are getting tired of being tied to a computer all the time
