MOTOPOWER MP00205A 12V 800mA Automatic Battery Charger, Maintainer, Trickle and Desulfator

It works exactly as advertised. I am glad these will keep our car batteries alive while we are not home.

I bought two of these battery maintainers to keep the batteries charged in my garaged cars and lawn tractor mower during the winter and they both work very well. Both of them keep the batteries charged and they perform a trickle charge so you do not have to worry about over-charging your battery. My only minor complaint is that I wish they had an on/off switch but I assume the engineers of the product designed it that way to ensure a charge whenever it is plugged into the AC outlet and I assume it would cost more than $14 bucks to do so. This is not a big problem because I plug them into a surge suppressor and that acts as an on/off switch. I just don't like having to unplug a device from the AC outlet in order to turn it off. I give this product 5 stars because it works very well, is durable, and dependable.

It’s very quiet. It charges great. Small enough not to be in the way. We use it to keep our batteries charged in our motorhome while we are not using it. Works well with a timer also.

it's been plugged in for a week now, everything working great. I keep 2 car batteries charged in my garage to use with a inverter if needed. it's small and came with all parts needed. the clamps for battery posts are very strong and hold tight, was actually surprised, other chargers I've had weren't that strong. the only thing keeping this from the 5th star is the power cord, its short, very short, I didn't measure but I'm guessing less than 14 inches. receptacles in my garage are 40 inches high, so there it dangles like a Christmas ornament. probably perfect for under a car hood tho.

This item is better than $60-$70 one have been impressed since I’ve got it. It’s still impressive. Not only does it keep the battery tendered but all also keeps the battery optimize.

Ive been using this Motopower maintenance charger for about 10 days and it’s been working as advertised. It doesn’t overheat and the battery in my Harley remains fully charged. The single function display light works however a multi light setup with the specific function being performed would be better. Great value at this point, looking for long term service as the final determination.

Works great. I purchased a battery from Costco with manufacturing date 6 month ago. ChatGPT suggested that it should be fully charged before installing otherwise it may shorten the battery life. I purchased this charger and charged it for a few hours till the voltage is high enough. It never reached to a full charge though as the light has blinked (trickle charge) for hours as opposed to static (fully charged). Overall very pleased. It can also be used for jumping start if battery dies.
