Great product
Absolutely love these boards. They gave so many features and have improved the quality of my smart home operation. They connect to my Home Assistant system painlessly. I cannot attest to the long term quality because I've only had them fora few days but so far no problem with any of them. I've already ordered more.

Good board but range not improved by external antenna
3 stars — Boards work fine, but antennas don't add much Bought these to get better WiFi/ESP-NOW range with the external antennas. Ran side-by-side range tests against Freenove ESP32-S3 boards (no external antenna, just the PCB antenna). Result: about the same signal strength. The small antennas that come with the boards are matched to 2.4GHz and work, but don't give a meaningful advantage over a good PCB antenna design. The boards themselves are fine — dual-core 240MHz, 16MB flash, 8MB PSRAM, CH343P (download driver for win11) USB works after installing the WCH driver. They compile and upload with Arduino IDE no problem. Good as spare ESP32-S3 boards at a fair price. Just don't expect the external antenna to be a game changer for range.

Poor onboard antenna
The module is a clone of an official ESP32-S3 WROOM. The onboard antenna is REALLY poor compared to an official module, so I recommend to buy these boards only of you intend to use the external antenna. Otherwise go for an official dev-kit or a better clone. (Also the module makes audible high frequency comuting noise that the official one doesn't).
