I am making a little home server at the moment, where of course there will be plenty of drives, so I needed quite a few SATA cables, and if possible, in punchy colours to go with the overall look. So when I saw on vine that pack, I jumped on it, every penny saved is a plus after all. The cables are well made, and function just as decribed (I tested all but the molex, I mean, it IS 2026), and look great (and bonus, they have JUST the right level of rigidity to fit in well withotu having to be coerced) Really happy with it, and in fact I'd have been fine paying for it as it's great value too

With the current spiralling costs of storage, I've brought a couple of old drives back into service to upgrade my partner's Desktop PC. This kit gives you everything you need to add some drives. I'm so pleased that we bought a PC with the option to expand it. The kit has two SATA data cables, two SATA power splitters and a Molex power option. I haven't seen Molex on any PC PSUs for over a decade, so I'm a bit surprised by it. I put a Samsung EVO 850 SSD and WD Black 6TB HDD into the computer. I attached the multi-coloured power splitter with to one of the available points on the exist SATA power lead. I chose the right angled connector set as it fits better into the tight space for the HDD that is opposite the CPU fan. For the same reason, I also connected the right angled SATA data connector to the HDD. I connected the other end of the power splitter to the SSD and the other SATA Data connector. Next, I had to route the wiring SATA data leads to suitable ports on the ASUS motherboard. Finally I used some cable ties to keep the new wiring tidy. The cables work first time and supported the 6Gb/second maximum data rate. My one little complaint is that the connectors seemed to be able to come off more easily than I would have hoped for, but they did stay in place once the cabling was tidied.
