The thing that I didn't know was it came with a 2 month expiration date. Unless you're testing your water everyday, lot of it will go to waste. Maybe suitable for a fish store or someone with lots of tanks

Takes only a minute to get results. We're not sure how accurate they are, because we don't have another test kit to compare it to, but we do like how fast and easy it is to get the results.

Strips seem to be working decently so far. Everything seems to be relatively accurate except for pH. The colors indicated don’t match up with anything on the bottle, it’s like they put the wrong chemical on the pH slot. I’ve checked with other pH testers and my pH is fine and in range.

Seeing as how I have used lots of different types of test strips for hot tubs skin care products tap water, etc. I find this one difficult to read. Mainly because the colors don’t match up very well with their picture on the bottle. Please listen to other reviewer‘s and do not buy this it will only frustrate you. I gave it three stars because I had read other reviews and I knew this going in. I was hoping that it wouldn’t be this bad. The test reading above ph balance & PH Balance and the one beneath it were not reading properly. I have another ph balance test kit that works well. And the test strip for ph balance was reading 6.0. 2 tedt strips began bleeding as is it wanted to show 8.2. It has me questioning whether the rest of the strio were accurate. The rest of the strip looks as if it was the same every time but the top 3 were not consistent with their readings

Colors do not illuminate very well

I bought this product for my fish tank. I found its result can be pretty misleading. Based on its result, I purchased a alkalinity/carbonate booster product. However, i noticed there was just no change in Carbonate hardness test color even though I kept adding more of carbonate booster to the tank. I got skeptical on its accuracy. Then I purchased a different test product also from Amazon trying to do a comparison. What a difference !. The new tester showed that the KH value already over the normal range.I further tested this bad 14in1 tester on tap water and some mixed water. The only 3 tests with a response are "total alkalinity", "PH", and "Total Hardness". There are completely no change of color in the rest 11 tests no matter what type of water was tested.Not sure whether the whole product is bad. But I can definitely say that the bottle I received is a defect.
