Q: If I buy 2 yards will it come in two pieces or one?

I ordered 8 yards and it all came in one long piece of fabric.

Q: Is this fabric easy to cut and sew on to another fabric. I plan to cut it into strips and sew onto a long skirt as a border.

It is easy to cut with scissors or a rotary cutter. The sequins are very thin so that isn't an issue. But all fabric of this type has glued on sequins which are the devil to sew on, not because of the sequins but the glue. But, can you - sure! You might need to keep some alcohol on a cotton ball and wipe your sewing needle a few times if the strips are long. I also find it sews easy if the fabric is somewhat cold, it makes the glue not so gluey. This was a particularly nice version of this fabric. If you have a serger you can also serge it to the fabric which works out well.

Q: Does this unravel when cut? Can it be left with a raw edge without unraveling?

No it doesn't unravel when cut, I left it with a raw edge but i only used it to make a doll mermaid costume so I wasn't too concerned about it looking perfect/professional I thought it looked great although it was a bit sticky in my sewing machine, jammed it up a few times

Q: Could I use this as a pirate bandana on my head?
