The Little Green Sheep Organic Waterproof Mattress Protector (Cot Bed Size)

We bought this protector as we purchased the Little Green Sheep mattress. It is only recently our little one has started to sleep in her cot so we didn’t open the protector when purchased initially. The protector feels good quality,however, as there are no fitting straps for the corners of the protector it doesn’t fit properly and as my four month old turns and moves in her cot so does it - this leads it to bunching up and creasing, as you can image this would be very uncomfortable to sleep on at four months. I have to flatten it out each night and put on the fitted sheet again to ensure it doesn’t crease. This is very time consuming and not at all what I wanted when I purchased this. Unfortunately as it wasn’t used until my little one was three months old the date for return was missed. I would not buy this protector again, it needs fitting straps. In my opinion this is not fit for purpose.

We bought one originally for our next to me and now our little girls cot. I have to say we didn’t really need the next to me one as she was very rarely sick. However last night our little girl was violently sick with her cold. Soaked through her baby gro, sleeping bag and sheets. Stripped the bed and thank goodness the mattress was clean and dry! Absolute god send at home midnight and needless to say I’ve just bought another. Will also use the next to me one as an emergency emergency spare!!

I bought this protector after purchasing a Little Green Sheep protector for my baby's bugagoo sized mattress. That was really nice a thick and didn't make any noise when my baby was placed on it, which is just what I wanted as my baby is noise / sound sensitive.This mattress protector lies on top of the mattress and it doesn't fold over the edges. It's pretty thick material and consequently it doesn't need folding down the sides of the cotbed. It's best to get one which is a couple of centremetres bigger than your mattress on the length and width, just in case your baby decides to vomit on the handle bars or near the cot bars, then I imagine it would trickle over the edge and dirty & wet the mattress. My baby is 4 months so I can't say comment on movement as there aren't any elasticed corner or ties to hold it in place.

Love these protectors! Had them in the bedside crib and then bought again for the cot. Tried cheaper alternative but just was not up to this high standard.Very expensive but they do easily wash and tumble dry well.Wasn't sure at first about them just being flat sheets but they stay in place really well underneath fitted sheets. It also makes them more versatile for other uses.

This is an essential for parents! This has protected the mattress from pee, drool and a very large amount of vomit. My one year old has put this protector through a lot of rigorous testing and it has done a great job. I highly recommend paying more and getting one of these. We have had them for our Moses basket, bassinet, next to me and her current large crib and I can’t fault it.

These waterproof sheets are soft, attractive, and breathable, and they really do work. The only downsides are that they shrink slightly with each wash (although this hasn't been a problem in practice), and can take a while to dry (I have bought a second one as a result)

Had a small one of these for our daughter's crib, didn't hesitate to buy a bigger version for her toddler bed (and to be honest we still use the smaller one as a spare). Never had any trouble - lovely and soft rather than plastic-type material and perfectly waterproof.

Really thick and protective. My son has weed, pooed and vomited on his bed so many times and so far nothing has gone through to mattress and even the cot protector isn't stained. Highly recommended.

This is a perfect cot mattress protector, it's soft, breathable and easy to wash. There's no harsh, scratchy plastic under my baby's sheet.I love the Little Green Sheep cot liners and sheets and have used them in our baby's moses basket, next to me crib and now cot bed.

Brilliant! So hard navigating the mindfield of baby matresses. I ended up buying a cheaper mattress and this excellent quality topper so she has natural fabric next to her. So durable. Completely leak proof. We have been using for over 2 years.

Wasn't sure what I was getting into buying something non mainstream and natural. But I love it. I held up to a night time oops just fine. It does take a good while to dry if you don't tumble dry. I felt like it shrunk a little after a run through the dryer. But other than that, great buy.

I hate the plastic mattress protectors and am really glad I bought these instead. It’s not plastic and yet seems to do the job. Feels like a high quality item. You don’t tuck it in, it just lies on top which I personally like as no battle lifting up a mattress

This is definitely worth the money. Highly waterproof, nothing at all gets through and it barely feels wet itself when we've had lots of sick and nappy leaks. It's soft on the bed, stays put without the need for straps under the mattress and doesn't make a crinkley noise like some other waterproof mattress toppers.

We've found these to be the superp mattress protectors. They're very high quality and they've never failed to protect the mattress from leaks.

Ordered whole range of products from this brand. The mattress protector is so far the best. Very thick yet soft like brushed cotton feel. It fits perfectly to our cot once tucked around. Beautifully made, and very pleased with this.
