Beautiful Book
I still haven't figured out the exact way of this book's layout. Its explanation of story is a little odd compared to other systems, like D&D, but it does the job in its own way, and creatively. Very great reference book for the Pen & Paper game, "Vampire the Masquerade"

It's great!
This book is great. They added new things and it seems like it's a bit better. It'll take some getting used to but there's a lot of really cool stuff in here. I'm used to V20 so this isn't too far off of what I'm used to. Definitely worth buying.

A recommended change to a smaller, personal horror game.
Changes to Humanity systems are good. New Hunger system is an excellent way to tie the concept into moment to moment gameplay and makes players focus on their character's condition instead of an externalized point pool. Light on lore, heavy on mood. Disciplines have a good system tied to the new system of Generation but the powers are largely lack luster.Over all an excellent edition which I will be modifying for my games.

Stunning book, delicately illustrated and is true to its heritage
I've been playing Vampire the Masquerade since the early 90s, and I didnt really enjoy the direction the newer editions took it. To me, this is a fresh start, back to basic and to the well known, but in a modern setting, with very true to its beginning-rules. The book itself is a heavy, richly illustrated (And photos) walkthrough of who the vampires are, how they are dividied, game rules and settings. Highly recommended.

Some great, some complicated
Pros: Very pretty, great design in terms of print, graphics, artwork. Adding a palpable hunger system was very cool. Some powers (Dominate, Auspex) were updated extremely well. Cons: It's slower than classic Vampire 20th Anniversary or Revised for newbies. Why? 5th edition made Fortitude, Celerity, and Potence complicated with powers per level instead of something automatic. For someone that's played a long while, not an issue. As a storyteller, it was nice to help a noob by giving them one level specific power (say Presence) and then some physical disciplines that are easy to remember and understand. This version lost that.Overall: Great updates on living in 2018 with cameras and camera phones everywhere, change in the mood of the game to fit the era. Missing some of the old simplicity where a new person could play a physical type and understand it in 3 minutes.

Great RPG
Great book. I love the new rules set. Only complaint I had was a severe lack of disadvantages. Overall, a marked improvement over previous editions.

I very much love the section of disciplines, especially the blood sorcery - very intriguing.
I already had a Tremere who's title is the Blood Matron and her predator type is a blood leech, she's a 5th generation, and also the High Regent of the Five Boroughs close to the Anarch territory with her own Chantry. Her goals are her own, she cares little for politics - Only knowledge. Word is her sire is Tremere himself... might be true might not be true, who knows? If it is then... Well she'll be a personal target for my 4th gen Tzimisce's won't she?
