What can I say. They soak up the live giving fluids I spew every month. like clockwork. even though I am too old for this $h!t. and I am done having babies. 20 years ago.I have to say the wings are nice. They are easy to wrap around and have saved many pairs of britches. The material that contacts my girly parts doesn't stick to said parts like some other brands ALWAYS do. (wink wink). Thin? yes. Back in the day, when I was first blessed the industry was branching out from wearing a waist belt with the ends of a pad held up with that. They were about as thick as an Ikea mattress. (you young un's have NOOOO idea). When they invented the sticky stuff I thought it was brilliant! Now, instead of a thin strip down the center of the back of your pad which caused the sides to curl up and sometimes creep into some cracks or worse....travel to the wrong place while sitting in Algebra class (which you hated) and having to ask to go fix it, but finding a mess anyway and having to wear your sweater like a dork around your waist for the rest of the day...but I digress. ADD.Now, they have these WINGS! and sticky stuff from stem to stern! and they don't actually move and sometimes are hard to pull off your panties unless you undo each wing....which I have forgotten to do when I am all done after 7 days of hell....and then I find the remains in the washer with the plumped up pad STILL stuck to my drawers.Kotex really stepped it up from back when they were a mattresses between my legs. For a chunk of time I ALWAYS used another brand, but then I found U Kotex are far superior IMHO.I thought about adding pictures, but then I changed my mind. LOL

I got these to go with the U by Kotex click compact tampons. I hate wearing pads that are like diapers and I typically pick the super long kotex pads. I think I would still buy those and this length for when I'm not sure if the tampon is going to leak. On a side note I have not had any leakage with the U by Kotex click tampons despite my fears. The pad stays in place through workouts which I am very pleased with, nothing sucks more than having the tape fail and the pad is askew and haha the blood leaked over there onto the panties and maybe onto my butt and pants but surely those pants are dark enough so I don't think anyone will see it, right...The price wasn't an issue for me, but something you maybe want to consider...you might get similar usage out of the walmart equate brand for probably way less money. I like seeing the colorful wrapper but that's probably very girly of me and I don't even consider myself to be that girly. I buy cheap plain old ones too and am just as happy with those products. Just an aesthetic if you're into that kinda thing. The wings stay on good too. I wanted to comment also that someone in the questions had asked how soft they are and the response was softer than any other pad they had tried. I have to say I had just run out of 365 everyday value ultra thin dri silk which is what I would mostly say are a pretty close comparison to these kotex...the 365 are definitely softer than kotex. I don't really notice but if that's something you're concerned about that's my 2 cents anyway.

Unless they changed and I was unaware , this is a different pad . Similar but almost like it would be the knock off version . Part of the reason I loved these were the wing shape and this purchase off amazon was the first time the wings were different . The quilted pattern is also different so I’m confused . Can’t return cause I needed to use them when I had nothing and by the time I realized they were different , I just needed a pads . Won’t purchase again . They work but not the same as in store :/
