At first it seemed a bit fiddly putting them together for use, but after I'd done it a couple of times it took only a minute, so I was impressed with the design. They are very light, but I think they could do with thicker cross-section lower poles, because when coming down a small 'mountain' and digging them in to prevent coming down too quickly, I found the lower section seemed rather flimsy, not that it actually broke, but it flexed quite a lot and I think it would not take much more load without breaking. That said, they never actually failed. They don't inspire confidence, though. They look good and I like the grips - they were non-slip and easy on my hands and didn't get too sweaty like some others I've used.

The reason I am giving 4 stars is because I found it very difficult to secure them on opening - needing more strength to pull out over the locking button. Similarly, to close by pressing the locking bottom in! So, not really suitable for someone with ageing hands, unless help available!!

Come with a selection of accessories, all could be useful if the terrain and weather require them. Fold down small, even smaller if you take the mud guards off.Seconds to prepare, bit like tent poles. I have used mine as a Tarp pole as they extend quite a bit.Used them quite a few times. They are aluminium and strong enough to hold all 17st of me. Nuff said!!!One small issue is that if you extend them and don't tighten the clip they slip. Its a bit like a quick release seat clamp for a bike.

I ordered these and a set of Covacure poles at the same time. The Covacure are stronger and more robust, and easier to put together. Getting the button to "pop out" of these required a very strong rugby player - hopefully they will slacken with use. I probably won't bother to return them, but prefer the Covacure set.

Light, easy to collapse, just a bit big for me as the lowest setting is for 5:3 ft height and I’m shorter than that! They did arrive as expected, like the various options of tips and also the wrist loops are adjustable and comfortable with a soft inside

I’m a regular Nordic Walker and ordered these for lightweight poles I could fit in a suitcase for a weekend away. They are definitely NOT Nordic walking poles but just ordinary trekking poles. They don’t have gloves and are rubbish if you want to use them for proper Nordic walking. Very disappointing

Looks well made . Sturdy and light. Has a different length adjustment. Comfortable grip. Has different attachments to the weather . Snow rocks or grass. Definitely worth the money. I was looking to buy walking sticks for ages i am glad i bought it
