I ordered two sets of these - first off, I got three strands of warm white and one cool white - annoying, but not terrible. Also, one of the RGB IR boxes was cracked, which the seller was quick to address. The biggest issue, though was this - IF THE LIGHTS ARE HOOKED UP PER THE INSTRUCTIONS, THE REMOTE WILL NOT WORK CORRECTLY. I originally hooked these up as follows - IR box to splitter, and splitter to male ends of the light strips. When I attempted to use the remote, I got solid pink for any button in the R column, solid blue for any button in the G column, and solid green for any button in the B column. In order for these to work correctly, the setup needs to be IR box to splitter and splitter to the FEMALE end of the light strips - I know this because I purchased a separate set of connection cables and male connectors and hooked it up successfully. BE AWARE, that the male connectors needed to make this set work DO NOT come with the set. You will have to purchase these separately. Also, the remotes do not come with batteries, so be prepared to buy those too. Once I got everything set up correctly, they looked nice - but, I wound up spending additional money out of pocket to do so. I've purchased other sets that contained all the necessary parts and worked correctly the first time. I'll likely look for another brand next time I purchase.

I loved this lights when i first bought them, but the adhesive didn't stick long enough to even keep them up for a day. i have them up resting on some thumbtacks. just recently, after having the lights for about 5-6 months, i noticed they started glitching. when you have them on white, there will be a part of the strip that turns green for a few seconds and then goes back to white. It was rare that happened a few weeks ago, but today, they've done it about 20 times in the last hour.

they come on and flash all kinds of colors, but after sourcing a battery for the remote, {no, it doesn't come with one} the remote does nothing. bought these to light one color, not for some crazy light show. save your money. Contacted seller with zero response.UPDATE... after two months of no response from seller, I started to investigate the remote, IR transmitter bulb fell out of remote (obviously not soldered properly) this could have been resolved with a new remote but seller is obviously out to get your money with no concern for customer satisfaction!

Bought these lights back during Christmas within the first month adhesive was unusable second month remote started acting funny, now here we are july the lights and remote was acting perfectly fine but now the remote wont work at all tried unplugging the lights and now they just flash different colors. 👎🏽 I have friends who's lights have stayed put and are still working til this day, I can’t get a refund but that’s okay I’ll shop somewhere else.

Decent lights but the adhesive backing isn't very good for outdoor applications.

The color blue didn’t work on my lights but they hep me to fix and did a great job helping me.

My son got these for Christmas. After going almost all the way around his room with them, the adhesive gave out and they fell down. Now in May we finally decided to get some Command hooks and hang them up. Spent all that time doing it, turned them on and they were flashing obnoxiously. Tried every button on the remote and nothing worked. Shut them off and they never came back on. Tried to take the battery out to see what kind it was and the piece that holds the batter came out and the battery stayed in and is lodged in there. Total crap. Super annoyed 16 y/o who wasted time and money trying to get these to work. Too late to get my money back now.
