+ the authors honestly believe in what they do. They clearly have first-hand experiences in permaculture, and share those in an inspiring way.+ the concept of permaculture is well explained, along with many relevant examples and trivia. I also applaud the visible effort to avoid pseudo-scientific BS language as much as possible.+ The numerous references to other books and articles are both useful, and make the story credible.- The book is not well written, and particularly poorly edited. It does not give an impression of a real book, but rather a collection of short stories, and loosely related articles of various depth, and quality. I would have appreciated more structure, and a better effort from the editor.- The intended depth, and the level of detail are not well thought out. It is too much for just getting a quick overview of permaculture, but not enough to actually do something meaningful yourself. The in-text references help, though.

Really interesting little book full of ideas for small-space permaculture gardening.

Such wonderful ideas, examples and thoughts. As a "foodscapist" I found lots of inspiration, and some ideas, inside. This is a book for everyone! Everyone will get something out of it - and maybe even plant some food because of it.

Very interesting read! This is my passion here on our homestead so I love to see what others are doing.
