Wow, is all I can say. This book is a fabulous tribute to Mahavira, one of this age's greatest teachers who brought Jainism to the masses along with a lineage of 23 other teachers. The artwork alone is well worth the cost of this book. Not only does it bring to life every story which the author relates but it grants access into the world of Mahavira from birth to his final passing.The stories in this book paint a picture of deep significance to any Jain who picks it up yet it is not dense or overcomplicated. Simply just a good story of the Tirthankara's life.This book is not only an excellent read on Mahavira's life but it brings a feeling of hope to anyone following the Jain path. Reading about and seeing pictures of Mahavira's own struggles allows the reader to feel like they are there journeying with him. It definitely brings about personal reflection.This book is a must for any Jain's library or for anyone wishing to understand Mahavira's life regardless of their own religious tradition.

The short stories are perfect for guests to read a little without feeling overwhelmed by the text. The pictures inside are beautiful and the printing is high quality. I have other more educational books to learn from so if that’s your goal try something different on Jainism. This is really just a Great Book to Display and bring rise to discussion,
