The plastic guide for making proper angle seems pretty useless. It must fit some common knife size, but none of mine. But the stone and support are first-rate. I started with a slightly coarser stone - about 600 grit, then moved to this stone. After just a few minutes of work, the kitchen knives were quite sharp and slicing tomatoes perfectly.

This product came as advertised and packaged well. There are many of these on Amazon that look exactly alike, so I'm not sure if they are all rebranded from the same parent company or if it's just a coincidence. I assume the former. Of all, this was the best price I could find. It performed well and sharpened my Moras well beyond factory. It's gonna take some time and elbow grease, but the final edge will be well worth the effort.

My first water stone. So far so good, got a nice burr, no complaints. Can't really compare to the more expensive ones but for the price it does the job. Will update if I find any defects. The holder is also of nice quality.

We use knives for cutting lots of vegetables and we need to ensure that the blades stay sharp. This sharpening stone will do just that. Its easy to use, comes in a great stand that looks decorative and the sharpening guide is very handy. Leave the block soaking in water for 10-15 minutes, wet your blade and thank yourself for the well made investment.

Came with no instructions, so I used it like I did my previous sharpening block/stone from Home Depot. Doesn't sharpen my knives much at all. What a piece of junk. I should have just bought what I got from Home Depot before trying this crap.

Great stones with no issues. Just make sure you maintain the proper angle and pressure throughout your strokes and you can achieve a near razor edge with no problems. Finish up with a good strop and compound and you can shave with it.

I have not used the stone so far.Item arrived fast and in perfect condition. I expected the angle guide to be included like shown in the pictures and stated in the product description. The guide was NOT included ans so were instructions.I'll update after use.
