Better than other cleaners for difficult spots on camera sensors
I tried Eclipse Optic Cleaning Solution to remove a spot on my mirrorless camera's sensor. I could not remove this spot using other ultra-pure water sensor cleaners. Eclipse contains some methanol (they don't say whether it is pure methanol or methanol/water), which seems to act as a better solvent than the pure water formulations. It also dries quicker than other cleaning solutions. I was able to remove the spot using the Eclipse solution, though it did take three swabbings to completely clean the sensor. They lose one star because the dispenser tip does not seat properly against the rim of the bottle. The tip leaks, and soaks the swab as soon as you invert the bottle. Besides being messy, it wastes the very expensive cleaning solution.

Great for my VR lenses
I used this to clean my Playstation VR2 headset lenses. Cleans it really well and now I see completely crystal clear. Great for gaming!!!

worked perfectly for a6000 sensor
I scuffed my sensor by accidentally poking it with the end of my blower while trying to remove dust (irony of ironies).I'd researched sensor cleaner months ago (due to a similar problem that a local photo store ultimately cleaned for free--nice guys:)) and saw some posts about needing a special kind of cleaner (Aeroclipse) that was formulated to gently clean Sony sensors, which apparently have a different coating from standard digital ILCs.But I'm on a budget right now, so decided to roll the dice with this cleaner. I was worried because the price was so low, but I just tried it with AAWipes Microfiber lens/sensor cleaning swabs, and they did a great job. 2-3 drops on one side, swabbed in one direction with two length-wise strokes (the swab is not wide enough to cover the sensor in one swipe), that took care of the scuff but left a little residue. Flipped the swab to the other side (you don't want to reuse the same side because you risk reapplying the dirt you just lifted), applied cleaner again, gave the sensor two swipes from the opposite direction and now it's perfectly clean, can't see a speck of dirt. I tested by setting the aperture as narrow as possible and pointing the camera at the brightest sources of light available, and saw no signs of dirt or smudging. (Will update this review if I detect smudges when the photos are uploaded, but I don't expect to find any.)tl;dr: This cleaner and swab combo worked well for my Sony sensor. Hooray!

Less problem with streaks compared to Aeroclipse
Used to clean camera digital sensor with grease spots. While both cleaning solutions have worked for me I found that the Eclipse cleaned in a single pass and dried instantly with no streaks. Aeroclipse took a couple tries to remove all streaks.

From A Pro Photographer: Works Well, and A Necessity for Mirrorless Camera Owners
When I switched over to using my current full-frame mirrorless cameras, I didn't immediately recognize how important it would be to always carry a few sensor swabs and a good quality sensor cleaner when traveling. DSLRs have a mirror that will protect the sensor when you're changing lenses... but of course, mirrorless cameras don't, and most brands don't offer any practical sort of protection when you remove the lens.I found this out the hard way two weeks into a 6 week trip in India, where the fine dust that was constantly in the air in the Rajasthan streets quickly stuck all over my sensor, and it took me ages to find a service center that I was willing to trust with my cameras. Now, I always carry a bottle of cleaner like this, and swabs.I haven't actually noticed any particular difference between this solution and the others that I've used in the past, they all seem to do the job. This one works and doesn't seem to leave any streaks or film.
