Between ordering and receiving this product it seems to have gone from compostable to not compostable. Maybe it was my fault and I didn't read closely enough but I don't recall that the description mentioned it contained plastic. So good intentions but bad execution. The forks are very sturdy and better than all plastic but still not good for the planet.

Love the fact that these utensils are eco- friendly! Bought these along with matching teaspoons and soup spoons to use for gatherings at our farm. The natural color blends well with brown Kraft paper table coverings, black plates, black & white check accents to create a "modern rustic look" for parties. Highly recommend these utensils!

Loved the eco- friendly aspect, and was very pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this product. In fact, we can wash and reuse these multiple times, making them an even better value.

Works great. Better for the environment than regular plastic silverware. Wish it was less expensive but it is comparable to other "greenish" products.
